This time last year, Connor McGregor was also coming off and even longer lay off.

Connor wasn't able to move.

Hit him.

Caught him.

Particularly with that left.

And Connor was about to go on.

Ultimately ended up going.

You know, we talked about Connor McGregor.

Striking ability, uh, in the UFC in some of the best of all time.

But doesn't Korea can throw some pretty good hands as well.

But chel, why was he so effective at being able to land those calf kicks against McGregor?

One of the things that worked really well, when you're southpaw against southpaw, that catkic is going to be open.

But we've never seen that.

A weakness of Connor McGregor.

Guys in the past have tried to throw kicks, and Connor gives them a left right down the middle.

For some reason, Connor was not responding.

Which part of what I'm blaming on the in activity?

That's a timing issue.

And also that take down in the very first round served Korea in multiple ways because the threat of the takedown is Justus dangerous as the takedown, if you can threaten it.

But to I have the skills to get you down.

You will make him react.

And every time Dustin changed elevations boom, Connor would have to change thinking about the lower body attack.

Thinking about that tackler takedown poor, he'd step in and chop him in the leg.

He wants to be even more active clearly in 2021 he plans to regroup as he says, and come back and fight soon.

How soon should he get back in there?

And what caliber opponent are we talking about that he could possibly see down the road as soon as he's capable of getting back in there?

Because I tell you something right now.

The minute I saw poor and take him down, all of the first thing that jumped to my mind.

When I saw how long it took, kinda McGregor to get to get out of that situation, I said, This man ain't ready for the mega Meddoff.

You wanna be in the mega meta if you ain't ready?

Because if you can't wrestle with Dustin 48 at least as effectively as we would like to see you so you could get loose and really chop him down with some of those strikes.

Then guess what?

You're not gonna be somebody like to make a metal?

Remember, coming into the fighting to make a metaphor?

According to Dana, White and others had alluded to needing to see something spectacular in order to coax him out of retirement toe.

Wanna have that quote unquote big fight?

We didn't see that tonight.

What we're seeing is that Connor McGregor inactive over the last four years, just you to UFC fights.

Obviously he lost in the Mega Meddoff in 2000 and 18.

You beat Cowboy Cerrone who did who showed up and was looked like a deer in headlights with the bright lights.

But you went in against Dustin.

Poor EU wasn't ready to handle that.

So now what?

I don't know where he goes from here.

Of course, activity matters.

But when you've shown the world that grappling wrestling and ultimately being susceptible to those Catholics.

I don't mind the idea of Michael Chandler advancing to take on poor EA for the championship belt.

Whether that's an interim or we pull it off of cab, let's do it for the belt.

I don't hate the idea of getting Hooker and Connor in there together.

I mean, the Olympic Games play all the way to third.

If we're giving out medals, man, let's play this thing through.

Hey, not a bad idea.

It sort of felt like a Final Four in the 1 £55 division.

Ultimately, that winter would get Bebe.

Hopefully, but we'll see how it plays out.
