The Philadelphia 70 Sixers have got off to a hot start this season, and their new general manager, Daryl Morey, has said that this season it is championship or bust.

Jalen, where do I like to keep expectations in all things in my life s So why would this man come out and say this championship or bust when you know they'd be happy just winning the East all facts If they win the East, that will be considered a successful season.

However, what he's actually saying, Jacoby is if they don't win the East this year, they're gonna break up Ben Simmons and Joel and be, Oh, wait, they already tried to trade.

Ben Simmons just didn't happen.

It just didn't happen.

But either way, when the organization brings in Maury, Doc Rivers keeps Elton Brand and keep soiling Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris.

It now becomes a team that must win the East or you make major changes is actually stating the obvious.

Yes, Now I think championship or bust such expectations too high because you know they lose the Lakers in six games.

They'll be very happy with that season.

They might even throw a parade in Philadelphia for that type of season.

But it is interesting that Ben Simmons was on the trading block just like 10 days ago.

And now they are number one or number two in the Eastern Conference.

And not only that, Joel Embiid is having an M V P caliber season.

He's having absolute M V P caliber season shooting great from three.

He shoots 59% in the paint, 60% in mid range off qualified shooters.

He is the best mid range shooter in the n b A.

I'm gonna say it again.

Out of people have taken more than 35 attempts.

He has the highest percentage from the mid range in the entire league, jailing someone on the phone.

But we break down Joel and be Who says No.

Jacoby.

That's Philly.

We have Bradley Bill, y'all have been Simmons.

Think Philly says No.

I'm gonna tell you why.

What Philly has right now is not broken.

And you love to talk about how Ben Simmons can't shoot and you're not lying.

He can't shoot, but look at what he can do.

Look at some of these numbers assists per game six in the entire league, and he's almost 7 ft tall.

Rebounds per game.

21st steals per game, eight deflections per game.

Underrated stat.

Four times a game, he's deflecting passes that's good for second in the league.

And look at the bottom when Ben Simmons is guarding you, Onley.

Three players wearing Jerry West on their chests have opponents a lower field goal percentage.

That is why I don't think you would move Ben Simmons for Bradley Beal.

Because when you surrounding the shooters like Derek with, like Green and Curry and Tobias Harris has been lights out from three and all of a sudden, beat has been great from three.

When you put those complimentary players around Ben Simmons, that is how you put yourself on the top of the Eastern Conference.

You just made my point when you put those complimentary players around.

Ben Simmons, Joel and Beat is a featured player.

That's the disconnect.

They can't coexist and get maximum productivity from each player.

They're taking turns Joel and be catching the ball at the top, and that stat about him being the most accurate mid range is awesome.

But you know what else he'll dio?

He'll dribble it to the wing and then he'll start backing this guy down because they've decided that we must feature him and being has to get in where he fits in offensively.

That's why he's Onley hovering around Tim Field goal attempts over the last couple of games.

And I'm a huge Ben Simmons fan.

You know, anybody that could dribble a basketball at 6 ft eight or above and a team trust him to be a primary ball handler.

You know, I'm like that might be in the X magic.

You know, I might just fall out of my chair getting excited about that player.

But if those two guys were gonna coexist you Kobe at their apex, he's gonna have to be able to make shots out of the paint to give space to the guy you said is the best mid range shooter in the MBA.

They got one of the easiest schedules in the league so far.

Let's just be e one of the Easiest Schedules League so far.

So they could be a top of the Eastern Conference and they could have this record with Joel Embiid and Steph Curry.

And they never lost.

They lost, been currying and beat them played.

But when B doesn't play their trash and they have had one of the easiest schedules in the league so far this season, we'll continue to keep an eye on the 70 Sixers and all of the MBA.
