So today we're going to strike up the band

and put a little bit of soul into this episode.

for the 50th anniversary of "The Aristocats."

"Soul" is about Joe Gardner, a middle school band teacher who

he goes from New York City to The Great Before, a place where

souls get their personalities, quirks, and interests

before coming down to Earth.

And now, teaching us a thing or two

about rhythm and blues, heart, and Pixar's "Soul" is the cast.

Not the theme, but he did some incidental music.

I have seen "The Aristocats" so many times.

I don't know if I have.

I remember seeing the Walt Disney Home Video trailer

that it would play in front of all the Disney

movies I used to rent or own.

But I don't know if I've ever seen

the original theatrical one.

It's actually one of my favorite Disney trailers

of all time.

Really?

So in honor of their anniversary,

we just have to watch a part of it.

And you're going to see why.

This poor guy.

Well, you know.

Look at that, like, trippy '70s music and style.

JENNY: Yes.

Is it weird that I can smell the VHS tape watching this trailer?

Oh, yeah.

JENNY: (SINGING) Everybody wants to be a cat.

Well, that is a classic Disney trailer

for a classic Disney film.
