[MUSIC PLAYING] 'Twas the day before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, OK well maybe Gus-Gus the mouse. Very well done. Happy holidays, and welcome to another episode of "What's Up, Disney+," where we talk all things Disney+. Disney and Pixar's "Soul" is coming to Disney+ tomorrow. I am so excited. So today we're going to strike up the band and put a little bit of soul into this episode. Then we will practice our scales and arpeggios for the 50th anniversary of "The Aristocats." Lots of fun things today. So let's sound off, Andre. We are getting into the musical spirit in order to talk about our next movie. Yes, and that is Disney and Pixar's "Soul." "Soul" is about Joe Gardner, a middle school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to perform at the best jazz club ever. But after a literal small misstep, he goes from New York City to The Great Before, a place where souls get their personalities, quirks, and interests before coming down to Earth. And now, teaching us a thing or two about rhythm and blues, heart, and Pixar's "Soul" is the cast. Fill in the blank. You've got a blank in me. That's an easy one. Friend. That's from "Toy Story." DANA MURRAY: "All I Want" and "Just a Moment" are original songs from what Disney+ series? So obvious. "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series." PETE DOCTER: According to Elsa in "Frozen," the blank doesn't bother her anyway. I'm going to go with the cold. I'm going to take an educated guess because it's "Frozen" and say the cold. KEMP POWERS: "Hooked on a Feeling" by Blue Suede is a song featured in what Marvel Studios film? That's pretty easy because it's one of my favorites: "Guardians of the Galaxy." PETE DOCTER: True or false: John Williams composed music for all nine Star Wars films. I guess that is true. And he also wrote music for Gilligan's Island. He did the Gilligan's Island theme? Not the theme, but he did some incidental music. I think back then he was called Johnny Williams. PHYLICIA RASHAD: Who sings "You're Welcome" in "Moana"? The Rock. The Rock. Maui. Voiced by The Rock. Be sure to watch "Soul" streaming December 25. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. The holidays have gifted us with what's new. "The Book of Boba Fett," a new original series starring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen, and executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Robert Rodriguez is coming to Disney+ December 2021. The series is set within the timeline of "The Mandalorian." ANDRE: Just keep streaming, just keep streaming, just keep streaming. "Dory's Reef Cam" is now streaming on Disney+. JENNY: Home is where the hare is. See the new Pixar Spark Short, "Burrow," directed by Madeline Sharafian, streaming tomorrow. ANDRE: And go beyond "The Mandalorian." "Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian" returns with a brand-new special: "Making of Season Two," streaming tomorrow on Disney+. Oh hello. I'm Anthony Daniels. You probably know me better as C-3PO. He is appearing in the "LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special," now streaming on Disney+ just in time for the holiday season. Oh. I, uh-- I haven't thought what I should get him as a holiday gift. Oh I know. A warm oil bath. Never fails. Thank the maker. This oil bath is going to feel so good. Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful holiday season, and enjoy watching the "LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special" on Disney+. It's time to pick up on that feline beat because it's the 50th anniversary of "The Aristocats." I have seen "The Aristocats" so many times. Andre, have you ever seen the theatrical trailer? I don't know if I have. I remember seeing the Walt Disney Home Video trailer that it would play in front of all the Disney movies I used to rent or own. But I don't know if I've ever seen the original theatrical one. It's actually one of my favorite Disney trailers of all time. Really? So in honor of their anniversary, we just have to watch a part of it. And you're going to see why. All right. Wait a minute, I'm the leader. I love his voice. That Pat Buttram voice. Me too. Here we go. Charge! And that joke is classic. [MUSIC - FLOYD HUDDLESTON, AL RINKER, "EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE A CAT"] Everybody wants to be a cat. There's the music. NARRATOR: Animation entertainment uniquely Disney. ANDRE: Oh I love that phrase. JENNY: Oh, the font. This is so '70s. ANDRE: The font is great. I love that phrase, too: "uniquely Disney." [MUSIC - FLOYD HUDDLESTON, AL RINKER, "EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE A CAT"] --is obsolete when everybody wants to be a cat. JENNY: Look at how coordinated they are. That animation style is so good. NARRATOR: A cat with ten lives. Sacré bleu! Sacré bleu! Aw, sweet. NARRATOR: Scat Cat. ANDRE: I love that they're just naming off, here's all the characters you'll see in the movie. NARRATOR: Big cheese Roquefort. ANDRE: Yeah, see? JENNY: Right? NARRATOR: Edgar the cat-napper. ANDRE: That joke. Yeah, see? This poor guy. Well, you know. He had it coming. I know, I know. Look at that, like, trippy '70s music and style. JENNY: Yes. Is it weird that I can smell the VHS tape watching this trailer? Oh, yeah. JENNY: (SINGING) Everybody wants to be a cat. Well, that is a classic Disney trailer for a classic Disney film. Happy anniversary, "The Aristocats." Yes. Be the cat that you've always wanted to be and head on over to Disney+ to stream "The Aristocats." Well, it looks like they're playing our outro, folks. This really has been a harmonious time. Now, "What's Up, Disney+" will be taking a short break, but no "treble" there. We'll be back in January. Be sure to like, comment, subscribe, and share this video. And head on over to Disney+ stream all of your favorites. Happy holidays, everybody! And to all a good night. [AGGRESSIVE MEOWING] Sacré bleu! [MUSIC PLAYING - "WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS"]
