Precondition to a fight.

You know, I think it's just funny.

I've never heard, you know, put that type of condition on anybody.

I feel like if you take all the tests and all the precautions, I think you should be good.

You know, vaccination and no vaccination.

So I think he's just a little bit nervous now.

But if he wants me to get vaccinated in order to fight him, you know, more than likely go get vaccinated.

You know, I wanna make that fight happen.

You know, I still got a fight on March 13th, you know?

But I'm gonna take care of my job on March 13th.

And, you know, if he wants me to go get vaccinated to fight Charlie, I'm all willing to do it.

You know, you're you're right about the styles.

You and Charlo is bombs away.

And you both have some boxing ability as well.

But a lot of times when I hear aggressive fighters say that about boxers and in the division, there are boxers.

Canelo has a fight scheduled with Billy Joe Saunders.

He's a boxer.

Caleb plants a boxer.

A lot of times the aggressive fighters saying that it's almost like an excuse.

Like if they lose well, he wouldn't stand and fight me.

You're gonna have to fight some slick boxers in and around this weight class.

How, like, obviously, Charlo is a better style for you.

But how do you beat the slick boxers who aren't showing up to go toe to toe?

Well, you know, at the end of the day is just you have to have more than one different style or you have to have a different styles, you know?

So you have tow, apply a lot of pressure, do a lot of body working, cut off the ring.

You know, obviously, if you're gonna find a boxer, he's not gonna want to give you the time of day, you know, to stay in their bank with you.

So, you know, you have to do certain things and cut him off, you know, make him run into shots, you know?

So I'm you know, I worked with a lot of boxes.

I worked with a lot of brothers.

So whatever style present itself on fight night, you know, I'm gonna be ready for, you know, it's my job to adapt and be ready for anything.

Your talent is obvious, and your star quality is obviously the excitement you bring to.

But you have not been tested exactly against the who's who in and around your division.

And when I look at that, there's another guy who's knocking everybody out at middleweight, who's also he's less proven than you are.

He's never been out of the first round.

And in the previous segment on this show, I mentioned how eager Berlanga called out Caleb plant after plant last fight.

I hear you calling out guys, and I'm thinking to myself, Hold on a second.

You wanna make the most exciting fight you can possibly make where two guys who haven't really proven everything they wanna prove yet go bombs away.

What about Edgar Berlanga?

David Benavidez?

What's your thought about Edgar Berlanga?

I think Edgar Blankets Amazing fighter.

I think he's very strong fighter, but I don't think he's proven yet, you know.

So I feel like if he wants to get that fight going on were the same age.

You know, I feel like I'm all for that fight to I think it would be a big fight from Mexico in Puerto Rico.

I feel like I'll be angry.

Edgar Belinda, you know.

So whenever he's ready to come, take that fight.

I'm all right here.

I'm ready to take that fight whenever.

So tell him to let me know when he wants to make.

That fight won't make it happen.

If your £168 when you talk about there are bigger fights, they're the biggest of all.

Of course, is Canelo Alvarez.

That's the money man in boxing.

That's the guy Everyone wants to fight because you get rich on the night, you fight him.

A lot of guys also get beat up on the night they fight him.

Why will you beat Canelo Alvarez?

I think it's just I bring something different to the table from all these other guys that he's fought recently.

You know, I feel like I'm 24 years old.

I'm younger than him, you know, I'm faster.

I'm stronger, is just that.

There's something in me that I just want to show the world that I'm what I'm really made off, you know, I know you know that he's a great fighter and I take nothing away from him.

I feel like he's one of the best fighter of today, but all I need is opportunity, you know?

I mean, I felt I want I feel like I'm the best and I just need the opportunity to show everybody and I will be I will be canela once that time comes now.

If I was a fight manager and I had David Benavidez, I'm thinking that this kid is a star he's got really you have star quality.

When you fight in the ring, you fight with charisma, not just action.

But there's a certain kind of quality that's hard Thio Thio, articulate or quantify that you seem to bring to the ring when I look at your weight division kind of neighborhood because you're a Big 68 pounder there, two guys who aren't necessarily worth huge money.

But if I had a prospect like you, I probably or a contender like you are a champion.

I probably wouldn't be so anxious to throw them in with, and I'll give you the two names.

The first is Dimitri by vole.

The vole is a very slick boxer.

Confide it 68 75 doesn't represent a huge payday, but it's just really, really good.

What are your thoughts on Devo like you?

A big super middleweight.

I like to make sure people, you know, I've had the opportunity to work with, you know, for inspiring in the gym right out here in California.

You know, he knows.

He knows that I have power as well as I know that he has power.

You know, I feel like in order for me to be the best I could be, You know, I gotta go through whoever you know.

I can't.

You know, I can't turn down any fight turned out.

You know, my my job is to be the best in the world right now.

And whoever I gotta face, you know, to prove to myself and to the people I'm the best I'll go through anybody right now, man, I'm not.

You know, I'm really trying to be the best of my generation.

And whoever I gotta beat, that's what exactly I'm gonna go through now.

I may be jumping the gun and like a lot of fight fans, cause I'm a boxing fan.

You're always thinking about what's next.

And I looked at Tofino Lopez and I figured I figured he'd be at £140 by now, at least, right.

But now all of a sudden he's making 35 their money fights to be made it 35 he's the man there.

So I don't mean to get ahead of myself if you're saying you are a super middleweight.

But you're a big super middleweight, as I keep mentioning and when I look at light heavy canela went upto light heavy and beat the brakes off of Kovalev.

But Kovalev has seen his best days.

The monster at £175 right now is better.

BF bartered better be EV and anyone who's gonna fight there in the near future roads point to him.

If you really want to prove that you're the best, what are your thoughts on Better?

BF you know, I feel like better be if it's he's the best at 1 75 right now.

You know, I definitely would have to go through every everybody else you know just to get to him, but I feel like that's the pinnacle of £175 but I feel like once the time is you know when When my time is ready and to go up against Berger B f, I think I would have an amazing fight with him, you know?

But stylistically, that would be an amazing fight.

He's a strong fighter.

I'm a young, strong, hungry fighters.

Well, so you know, I just smells great.

Fight for, you know, all fight fence.

David, if you had your way, you could map out your future, your next three fights.

What would it be?

So the first one would be against Tarlow?

The second one would be against the Kayla plant, and then the third fight ultimately would be against Canelo.

I feel like those fights in that order, you know, would be amazing just from my career.

And, you know, just for the world of boxing as well, you know, I feel like this is excitement we need in the super middle super middle weight division.
