Today is just gonna be a super, super fast announcement video

I've been waiting for this day for like 2 years, so I'm SUPER excited!

But my channel is finally eligible for the Fan Contributed Subtitles.

So uh, you guys can now put subtitles on my videos straight through YouTube

and you don't need to download any extra program,

or deal with any weird file types or anything.

Up until now, I've had you guys make an .srt file and email it to me,

and then, I put the subtitles on myself,

and sometimes there were problems with the files,

and then, I would end up copying and pasting them one by one,

and it was taking hours!

So this is really really good news!

I think it will be a lot easier for all of us.

If you guys have been contributing subtitles to Rachel and Jun's channel,

you probably know how this works.

But for any of you who have not tried it before

I'm going to be linking a YouTube Tutorial Video that they made.

It's really straightforward and it's a great video.

It will tell you step by step exactly what you need to do.

So, if you guys would like to submit subtitles in your language

I would be very very thankful

because it helps share my videos around the world, and it helps my channel grow a lot.

So, I'm VERY, VERY appreciative of your help.

So, thank you so much all of you guys that have been helping with subtitles so far.

So, I will be putting the English captions, the original English captions on the videos myself,

so I'll be timing all the speech, so you guys don't need to worry about that part,

So really all you need to do is go in and type in your translations for each of the lines.

So, up until now, I've been putting the English captions

as well as the Japanese translation, and sometimes the Spanish translation up

before I released a video

But from now on, I'm going to be only putting the English captions on my videos

and I'm gonna leave the rest up to you guys.

That will give me a lot more time to make more videos

and I think I'll be able to put out some more videos each week.

So, hopefully, this all works out, and yeah thank you so much!

I'm not going to put any subtitles on this video

because I'm going to leave it open as like a test for you guys

So you can kind of fool round with it and make some subtitles for this video

and see if you can figure out how it works

This is all new for me as well, so I'm also getting used to it.
