I guess we're doing this again!

so welcome to the behind the scenes of this walk

First Fun Fact:

It took me 3 tries to get this right lol

First Try: I Tripped. (because, adult.)

Second Try: I greeted the security guard and we got into a conversation

also...

I can't think of a single other shrine with an escalator!

This (Hie) Shrine is literally right in the heart of Tokyo

And I have actually done a few other videos feauring this place!

(bonus points if you can remember more than one of them)

so on the original walk-throughs...

I just stood on the escalator

but by the 3rd time, started to lose a bit of patience

so we walked this one

on some of my test runs

I had the camera above me

but then you feel like you're floating everywhere

and it kind of takes you out of it

And holding this pole out in front for an extended period,

was a little more challenging than I had expected lol

oh! There's my new friend!

I had actually stated this way earlier in the morning

but he was really interested in the camera

and then our conversation went on for a bit

in fact the first walkthrough I did,

(the one where I tripped)

there was next to nobody in the shrine at al

and if you haven't read the comments section yet,

make sure to zoom out a bit to increase quality

the compression really kills these vids

WHOA!

I have been sitting here typing for like 20 minutes

How do I only have like 3.5 minutes done?? lol

I'm also stuffed full of popcorn right now

Decided to watch back to the future 2 today

It's been a long time. Totally worth the watch

and finally we are in!

at this point,

I am actually just shocked

by how many people have suddenly arrived

this place was empty just an hour ago

and then it hits me...

It's been an hour since I arrived

and I only have like 5 minutes recorded

so it was around this area that I tripped last time

so I am understandably nervous at this point

Don't want to trip again

but also don't want to look like I'm trying NOT to trip lol

it's.... a delicate balance indeed.
