Shawn Watson is a stud, and he's healthy, not coming off an injury that justifies his money.

Patrick Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes.

He doesn't have to justify his money.

Aaron Rodgers should be getting paid more money.

Russell Wilson, one could argue, Should be getting paid more money.

And they're getting less that Prescott has a couple of you know he's got a couple of playoff appearances and a playoff victory on his resume.

Okay, they also have a situation where he was in the lineup when they missed out on the playoffs last year because they went to bed.

They lost every game from Thanksgiving, one of the greatest one of the greatest holiday seasons of my career.

Jeff Saturday they lost every game from heading from Thanksgiving through Christmas.

I mean, it was just a beautiful, beautiful thing.

I've never wanted to see Cowboy fans more in my life.

I was looking for that.

I actually put out the A P B for cowboy fans.

I was looking for them all over the place.

Okay, so this is what happened That Prescott was in the lineup on the field when those things happened.

And so we have to remember that.

And so Okay, that Prescott, we understand that, you know, the market gives you what the market gives you.

You could get.

You get what you can, we get it.

But it's not like it's the end of the world.

If they said okay, 40 million is a bit steep.

We want to sit up there and we think it's about it's around around the price of 38 million.

Your franchise tag would have you 37.

We give you 38.

We don't think you deserve more than this Shawn Watson or Patrick Mahomes.

What I'm saying, however, is that we're walking around talking about Dak Prescott like there are no risk involved, and I think that when you're looking for a long term deal, there is some risk, particularly in the sport of football and particularly when you're coming off such a nasty injury like he just had.
