(Finebros) How did watching people slap each other in the face make you feel?

I don't even know. I felt kinda uncomfortable watching.

I'm a little bit concerned that people just did whatever they were told.

I'm always a little bit concerned by that in these videos.

It wasn't a problem at all.

It made me feel happy.

I felt a sense of thrill each time someone got hit in the face

and smiled afterwards.

It was so nice to see people hitting each other,

but they're not actually fighting.

Kinda like taking an uncomfortable situation

and making it a comfortable situation, I guess.

It felt somewhat sexual, for some reason.

I dunno why. (laughs)

(Finebros) This video was in the style of The First Kiss video.

How does it stack up as a parody of it?

I think it's brilliant!

I think it was an epic follow up to the kissing video.

I guess it's the next level.

It's just an extension in my opinion.

Slapping, kissing, same thing!

I guess it's not as intimate as the the kiss one,

but it's as surprising as the kiss one.

It's kind of interesting how the reactions of The First Kiss

are nearly the same as the reactions of The First Slap.

It entertained me more than watching them kiss.

I had more of a genuine emotional connection

- to this than I did to the kissing one. - Well, you were like, "Yeah!"

And I was like, "Ow!"

(Finebros) And what do you think of the people that really just went for it

and were just slapping the hell out of each other?

I don't know what they're thinking.

They were literally wanting to knock them out!

It's like, Jesus!

I know it's for the video, but come on!

They committed to it.

They set out to do something, and then executed it.

Look, if you're gonna do it, you gotta go for it.

If someone says, "Yeah, you can slap me."

I feel like I'm gonna slap you.

When else am I gonna have permission to slap someone?

It's like Fight Club.

You just get a bunch of people together and say, "Let's do something stupid"

and then they're like, "Okay, let's do something stupid."

(Finebros) The guys were even slapping the girls.

Some people are saying that's controversial.

Yeah, I was surprised.

I don't think it was a controversial thing because they knew about it

and they allowed it, obviously.

2014, there should be no problem with that.

- What?! - There's a sentence that makes sense

somewhere in there.

I think that's the whole point.

It's like everybody slapping everybody.

If you want equality, this is equality.

If somebody's participating in an experiment

and you're saying, "Slap someone," it shouldn't go one way!

It shouldn't be a sexist thing. It should just be people slapping people.

It's all consensual.

Just don't go in public and start slapping anybody!

It's either everyone can slap everyone, or no one can clap anyone.

(Finebros) So the creator of the video said if you take the destructive component

out of violence, it ends up being kind of cute and intimate.

Did you find this video to be cute and intimate?

Not particularly.

I just find it funny because obviously it's something

you wouldn't expect to see.

I feel like it's still just people slapping each other.

- There's no deep meaning. - Okay, I felt it.

I wouldn't say cute, but I'd say it was intimate.

Slapping somebody suggests you have some sort of emotional reaction

or connection with them.

I think he's right. Which is kind of uncomfortable.

If you can be open enough with somebody that you can slap them on the face,

then you're like this.

I'm not gonna lie. I kinda did.

They were both so uncomfortable, and they went out of their comfort zones

and they just slapped each other and it was beautiful.

And kind of romantic.

Wait, no, that's not good.

It takes the element of the anger out of that violence.

It's kinda like when you're a kid, you'd just wrestle with your siblings.

It kinda feels like that.

Me and my friend used to slap each other all the time

and it just showed how much we liked each other when we'd do it!

We actually got in a bar. We were slapping each other in a bar

and the bouncers are about to kick us out, and we're like

"No! We do this 'cause we're friends."

(Finebros) A knock on The First Kiss video was that most

- were actors and models. - Right.

(Finebros) In this one, there's notable people

- like Haley Joel Osment and Mike Diva. - Yeah.

(Finebros) Does it take away from the video at all, knowing that?

I don't really think it makes a difference.

I guess knowing some of them are actors might make me question,

like I said, how hard they're actually slapping.

I feel they were still thrust into an uncomfortable position

and they didn't know the other person and they still got

smacked in the face, bro!

I think it might've taken away something from the kiss one

because they've kissed people on camera before--

most of them, if they're actors.

But slapping isn't really something anyone does on camera.

It probably makes it more enjoyable for lots of people

seeing Haley Joel Osment getting slapped.

(Finebros) So we have to ask, would you be willing to slap

a stranger or be slapped by a stranger?

No, I wouldn't trust a stranger.
