And Jaren Jackson's not healthy at Desmond Band and Xavier Tillman, their draft picks this year, are really contributing.

They just haven't quietly have collected a lot of very good players.

So tanking doesn't necessarily benefit them the same way it does for others.

This year, you have more teams than ever who think well, I got a shot to be in the playoffs and some of those teams that normally would be sellers because they were too far out of it.

Now do have a shot to at least play their way in, and those are usually very hungry fan bases or hungry ownership like we talked about with the Atlanta Hawks earlier in the show.

So you have teams that might give up at a normal trade deadline who aren't now, which means that if you are a team that is willing to sell the laws of supply and demand means that you will get more for what you are willing to sell because there are less sellers out there.

So if we didn't think already that Houston was going to become a seller, just looking at the larger field, that will tip you off as well.

And I want to get over to Chicago.

You see that Wrigley Field sign behind our friend Nick and one of his old time friends, Joakim Noah, planning to retire as a Chicago ball?

Nick, what do you remember most about Noah's career with Chicago?

Nobody was beloved more in that locker room, and that includes Derrick Rose in those early Tibbs years.

And joking was he was the heart and soul of that team, and he has peace now in retirement, knowing he left everything he has out there on the floor.

So he will be a legend in the Bulls organization for years and years, and his impact was felt for a long time.

Well, the Bucks are at home.

The Nuggets are on the back to back Drew holidays back.

The Bucks are trying to starting to get their identity together.

Yes, they should make it 600 bucks win tonight.

Not only do the Bucks win, but I think they're primed to make a real run here.

Not not only at the end of the first half, but going into the second.

The honest is feeling great after that win the other day against the Clippers.

That team knows how to win, and I think they are finding their way now with holiday in the fold.

Nick, you're a reporter covering the bucks for a time.

Do you see them making enough of the kind of changes they said they were going to make this regular season so that they can be more competitive in the playoffs.

Absolutely, And I think the differences in the defense, they're going to find their way Holiday will be that kind of difference maker.

I believe in the postseason.

I just think Brooklyn is going to be right there.

But I think defense will push Milwaukee once they find that rhythm.

And I think this might be their year.

So last year at this time, we were talking about Milwaukee having a clearer path to the finals.
