You are going to need these ingredients. 2 chicken breasts cut into chunks. 2 tbsp full of vegetable oil. 2 tbsp of butter. 1 onion chopped. 1/4 of cinnamon. 1 tsp garlic crushed. 1 tsp ginger crushed. 1/2 tsp ground turmeric. 1 tsp chili powder. 2 tbsp full of ground almonds. And a 225g can of whole peeled tomatoes. 1 tbsp full of tomato paste. 1 tbsp full of natural yogurt. 2 tbsp full of fresh coriander or spinach chopped. Salt and pepper to season. You will also need the following utensils. A large frying pan, spoon, and a tray. Step 1. Before cooking, season the chicken well with both salt and pepper. Step 2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan and when hot, add the chicken, and start to fry it. Step 3. Fry the chicken for about three to four minutes, or until it starts to turn golden brown. Step 4. Remove the chicken. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the frying pan, and put it to one side. Step 5. Next, using the same frying pan, start to melt the butter. Step 6. Now lightly fry the onion with the cinnamon, stirring them together well. Step 7. Add all the remaining ingredients into the pan. The crushed garlic. The crushed ginger. The turmeric. Chili Powder. The almonds. And the peeled tomatoes. Tomato Paste. And the natural yogurt. And stir them together well, mixing thoroughly Step 8. Bring this to boil and leave it to cook for 4 to 5 minutes stirring occasionally. And then taste and add seasoning. Step 9. Add the chicken. After about 5 minutes, put the chicken back in the pan, and cook for a further 5 minutes. Step 10. And finally add the fresh coriander or fresh spinach if you prefer, and stir it into the sauce. Step 11. Serve while steaming hot and eat up. Your butter chicken is now ready to enjoy. Serve it up immediately. We suggest with rice and naan bread.
