It really was Rachel.

And look, I was one of the people out there saying that they shouldn't have the All Star Game.

And Adam Silver must have solved me on the jumping Said, Bert, Shut up.

And he got me.

Good, because you know what I enjoy every single moment of the All Star game for is the skills challenge, the dunk contest, the three point contest in the game, Watching the players play with great joy, but to go back to your point, it wasn't about the donations to the HBCU s.

It was.

It was the way that the n b a and everyone celebrated the h b C U s in the heart of the hbcu.

So the juice was worth the squeeze.

Uh, you know, watching Steph Curry LeBron James Johannes Dame dollar play with such joy was just fun to watch.

So I was impressed.

I enjoyed it.

And my apologies to Adam Silver because you are the best commissioner in sports.

Very nice perk.

So I feel a little selfish.

Answering this question is someone who wasn't there, right?

I would leave it to the players and everyone who had to go in something from across the country.

Three time zones away.

Stay in a hotel, fly right back those three time zones.

That's a real sacrifice.

But I will say I do think it was worth the squeeze, because it was It was really fun.

And the players seem to have a lot of fun.

And what you want from All Star are indelible moments that you'll remember.

Right.

You'll remember Mike Conley getting his first all Star bucket.

You'll remember Jayson Tatum slapping the floor and daring his teammate Jaylen Brown to beat them one on one.

You'll remember Steph and Dame and Steph really trying to win the three points.

You know, you'll remember all of that.

And, yeah, Ben and Joel having to contact Trace out of it.

That's a bummer.

It highlighted the risk, but I don't think it was one of these.

Things were highlighted that the whole event was irresponsible.

The NBA treated this like a super super intense regular season game.

More testing, more quarantine.

The exposure came before they got to Atlanta.

It appears they did not come in contact with anyone in Atlanta.

This is the kind of stuff that's been happening in the regular season period.

Who knows what would have happened?

Who knows what's been going on right now with the players around the country.

So I do think I get why the optics are bad, but I think it was worth the squeeze.

And that's before you get into what they did for H B.

In terms of exposure and and all that.

Throughout the broadcast, I thought it was a success.

And look, we just showed some video right there, to be honest with his son Liam, which was really cool.

Those moments are so great.

We remember the video of Steph Curry is a kid with his dad, Dell, right?

So who knows?

Maybe we'll be showing that video 20 years from now, talking about little Leomont to Campo.

And yeah, that's a great quote.

After the game, one of the reporters was asking him about just kind of the reckless abandon in a good way, right?

The positive joy that he was playing with and how he just launched those three pointers as if he didn't have a care in the world if they went in or not, and he was just having so much fun and he had a great, great line, he said.

This season, I am choosing fun over fear, he said.

I'm not gonna be scared anymore.

If it doesn't go in, you know what it's gonna look like.

I thought that was really cool.

And Steph Curry had a mic drop line after the game as well, which we'll get to later in the show.
