And today we're counting down our picks for the top 10 Pokemon evolutions that don't fit.

Yes, for this list will be going over the Pokemon, whose appearances don't match with some or all of the other members of its evolutionary line.

Number 10, Hunt Tale and Gorgeous, both water type Pokemon, both serpentine fish.

However, they have a lot more in common than that, as there are some of the few Pokemon to be part of a divergent evolution line.

In other words, they evolved from the same Pokemon.

Aside from body shape, they don't really resemble each other, but they're positively identical compared to their pre evolution clamp ill, whereas hunt tail and grabs, our fish like clam pill is an oyster or clam.

Sure, each of them evolves by being traded, holding a different item.

But even by the internal logic of the franchise, this is pretty bizarre it is.

It's time.

Yeah.

Number nine sold Galileo The Sun and Moon Games introduced another divergent evolution line, with both its mascots evolving from the same Pokemon the first two stages.

Kaczmarek and Cosme, um, have a story cloud theme to them.

But when they revolution split, that's when things get weird.

You didn't get hurt.

You're okay, right?

Although moons Loon Allah retains its pre evolutions blue star studded color scheme, son sold Galileo largely abandoned it.

Okay, while part of its face as it's look, it's huge white lion like body looks nothing like anything from the rest of the line.

When it comes to comparing Saga Leo with its relatives, the differences are night and day.

Wink wink.

Number eight sharp, Edo Sharp Edo is a cool Pokemon, a shark crossed with a torpedo.

That's just awesome.

But comparing it to carve on a the Pokemon evolves from we're left with a few questions.

Oh, God.

Although carbon banana is based on a fish to, it's a Parana, which is a freshwater fish.

While most sharks are found in salt water there, blue coloring and shape are sort of similar.

But other than that the differences are stark.

We're guessing the mentality behind this one was.

Take a dangerous aquatic predator and just swap it out for an even bigger one.

Can we do something?

Number 72 Cannon and appropriately named Toucan like Pokemon with a multicolored striped bill.

Despite it being a fitting addition to the A Lola region, it was introduced in two.

Cannon doesn't fit in with the rest of its evolution line, although its second form, Trump Peak, can kind of look like a two can.

If you squint its first form, Picky Peck is very clearly based on a woodpecker.

While we can appreciate what they were going for with each new evolution getting a larger beak, it comes at the expense of a bird Pokemon evolving into a radically different avian.

Number six.

Polito owed a lot of Pokemon whose evolutions don't fit, aren't you to them becoming different animals entirely.

But in the case of Polito code, that's the whole point.

Polly Wank becomes a toad that makes sense.

I think Polly worlds evolving.

What doesn't track, though, is how drastically different Polito looks to Pollywog and Polly Will and even its alternate evolution.

Polly Wrath all three of the other members of its family tree have the same color scheme and a characteristic swill on their bellies.

But Polly Toad is a different color entirely and only has a slight kid mark on it, definitely the unwanted step child of the family number five.

Venom off and butter free.

Here we have an unusual case.

Venomous and butter free are to bug type Pokemon from the first generation of games.

Neither of them much resembles Pokemon.

They evolved from, however, each of them looks like they evolved from the Pokemon in each other's evolution line.

MM Vienna Nazis people has little hands and antenna just like butter free.

And while less pronounced butter freeze pre evolutions.

Cata P and Met Ahmad have eyes, headpieces and thorax is that closely resemble venom moths?

While never officially confirmed, many have theorized that the two final evolutions were accidentally swapped during development and never fixed Number four Superior.

This grass snake isn't out of place with its pre evolutions because it doesn't look like them superior absolutely looks like it could come from SNI V and serve in superior.

Who's that?

Come on superior.

Rather, it doesn't fit because of something it lacks.

Arms and legs survive a surviving Vega survive, while SNI V and servin have at least a little arm slash hands and legs superior is a full on serpent.

You could argue that its evolution sees it become progressively more snakelike.

But still you'd think that having limbs would only be helpful, Right?

Having fewer options to interact with your environment doesn't seem very superior.

What number three fly gone?

This whole evolution line is all kinds of confusing.

Flag on itself looks like a cross between a dragon fly and a dragon.

That's fair enough.

Yet it's to Pre evolutions are quite different.

It's first form.

Trip inch looks like an orange snapping turtle.

Then it's second form.

The brother looks like an ant lion.

Yeah, although Flagon retains Vick Brothers Wing tail and I shape Trip Inch looks nothing like it's later form, and the real kicker is that none of them are bug types.

A secret weapon he's hidden all this time.

Sure, there are actual Dragonflies called sand dragons, but that still doesn't make this whole line any less bizarre.

Yeah, number two Dragon Knights Dragon types are among the most beloved in all of the Pokemon franchise.

So it's a minor miracle there.

As loved as they are when the first evolution line of Dragons started off so weirdly, Yeah, dry martini is a little blue snake dragon than it evolves into a slightly bigger, more elegant blue snake dragon.

Yeah, right.

With us so far well prepared to get lost because the final form Dragon Knight, is a big deer pee Orange dragon with zero bytes.

Yeah, try isn't maybe exhausted drag Shane Pikachu.

Pikachu is hang in there for all its work.

It would be somewhat more believable if it was still blue, we suppose.

But as it is, the only thing it has in common with Dragon Air is the horn on its head.

Garrido's looks like it evolves from Dragon Air more than Dragon Knight does.

We still love him, Though Dragon Knight is unable to battle people, we continue.

There's Pokemon evolving into different animals.

And then there's this great.

My reverie really came through.

In one, artillery is a red octopus water type Pokemon.

It evolves from Rima Raid, which is not only not red, it's not even an octopus.

It's a bluefish artillery into.

Apart from both being ocean natives, there's absolutely nothing connecting these two.

If you ask someone who didn't know which Pokemon artillery evolved from to guess which one it comes from, they probably couldn't do it to save their lives.

Most of our other entries have some kind of visual commonality, or their at least in the same animal phylum.

But there is just nothing here.

Go in and see all your friends artillery.
