Who is the head of marketing and partnerships for Dapper Labs?

Of course.

The company behind NBA Top shot, which is absolutely exploding in popularity right now.

Katie, what is what is the company like right now experiencing this massive increase in eyeballs on this product?

It's been crazy.

Um, but it's been the best kind of crazy.

I think when you work in new products, the worst thing that possibly could happen is nobody cares.

And we're having the exact opposite experience of that.

Um, so, you know, the company is expanding rapidly.

Um, we thought that we thought that people would love this product.

Um, but it happened a little faster than we thought.

And so we're just, you know, starting to grow in scale and we were super excited that fans love it.

Do you remember what the first like?

Oh, my God.

Moment was for you or the company that you really saw, that this was going to catch fire and quick athletes started sliding into our d m s being like, Can you hook us up with some packs?

They're like, how do we get into this thing?

It really escalated quickly.

It's only been a couple months of kind of this, um, astronomical growth.

Um, but I think we're seeing that trajectory where it just is, like, really sustained.

It's growing and growing every single day.

Is Michael Jordan a possibility?

I'm sure people are obviously asking his name.

Is that like, a special case?

Whether he handles his own I p kind of thing like, is that a possibility that we see Michael Jordan on NBA Top shot at some point?

It is both a special case where he handles his own I p and also a potential possibility.

W N B A is a hot topic.

People are clamoring for the w N B a moments.

What can you tell us about that?

And it's possible release?

Yeah, we're we're already kind of scoping out getting the W into top shot and so working directly with the lead on that as well.

Um, I think that is next up for us.

So sooner than later would be fair to say, Yep, what?

Some of the feedback that the Roma community has given regarding a possible UFC or like everybody from top shot people seem really excited about it.

I mean, if you think about any sports fan is gonna have kind of a depth of interest in the athletes that they love and the moments in that sport that they love and that's that's really what we're trying to capture as that moment in time that that thing happened and you loved it and you were there, you were watching it or whatever that looks like.

And whether that's, you know, an Odell Beckham Jr one handed catch in the end zone when he was on the Giants.

Or whether it's a knockout or you know, whether it's a slapshot from something or ice.

There's just so many moments in sports that this could apply to.

I'd love to hear from your perspective, like what is the attention that you're receiving from these kinds of I PS or even conversations that you're having in terms of a split between sports leagues but also non sports, I P.

I mean, I'm speaking only for my inbox, but it's probably like 60 40 where 40% of sports and 60% is everything else.

Um, music.

The music industry has a huge interest in this.

If you think about cool stuff that happens at concerts throughout the year, if there's so many, um, so many different character driven properties that people just love.

Um, and I think again, if you start with what to fans love about this property, that's when you get a really great product.

And so at this point, we're talking to everybody.

What does the N.

T landscape that Dapper labs offers look like in five years?

I mean, I think the N F T landscape in general in the next five years is going to explode.

Um, and I think that it's gonna be the best part about it is it's gonna be consumers who drive what successful and what's not what's interesting and what's not.

What they think has valued and what they think hasn't been done super well.

And so I think when we think about the landscape, it's going to be very multifaceted.

There's gonna be a lot of assets in circulation.

Um, and it's going to really be a question of what people like.

You know, what people have loved and who provides a good enough consumer experience for people to keep coming back.

And for us.

We hope that you know anybody who opens a pack today and gets a great rookie.

That's stars on the rise that, you know, five years from now they look back and they're like, Man, I'm so glad I was in on the ground floor.

I still smile.

See artists celebrating that sire movie like in real time.

And to the folks that were thinking that that was staged, bro, I I swear that was genuine.

No, it is.

It's not like we're getting NBA touch like that's not how this works.

It was a genuine possible.

Now the problem is commercializing that with all the different leagues is almost impossible.

The World Cup could do it right now because he owns that.

That's the first thing when I heard them talking about Michael Jordan.

What that would do.

Messi, Ronaldo, this thing to go through the roof.

Perfect demographic that's capitalizing and consuming.

That's who.

All age groups as well as from the absolutely All right, Yeah, yeah.
