Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles The following video will make you fluent in one of the hardest languages in the world. My native language of Arabic. And the only thing you need to learn is one phrase, Inshallah. Inshallah, in Arabic, means God willing. And Inshallah is the word we Arabs use to answer most questions. Hey, are you going to school tomorrow? -Inshallah. -We won't respond with yes or no. Instead, we say... Inshallah. Inshallah. Meaning, if God wishes, I will come! If God doesn't wish, I won't come. The decision is up to God, and it's up to you to understand what they really mean. Are you coming or not? Yes or no? Inshallah, inshallah, inshallah, inshallah. The next time you meet an Arab and we ask you a question, you don't need to know the language or the answer. Just say... inshallah. And somehow, some way, everybody understands each other. That's one minute. Inshallah. See you tomorrow!
