Even though the characters in "Friends" speak quickly, there's a lot of physical comedy and repetition. So, even if you don't understand every word, you'll understand the story. Hey, I got you a present! Oh, my goodness, where did you hide it? "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" is a hugely popular television show in the English-speaking world. The host of the same name, interviews celebrities, does stand-up comedy, or even interviews stars of viral videos. Ellen uses a really simple language in her show, and to date, she has over 2,600 episodes. So, there's lots of opportunities to practice listening. "Atypical" follows the story of Sam Gardner, a high school student with autism. Sam has all the struggles of a normal teenager, but with the added challenge of being atypical or something that's different than normal. A lot of the show centers around Sam's family, friends, and support group, and so there's a lot of dialogue in the show. You'll be able to practice listening with a lot of everyday vocabulary.
