(upbeat music) - [Woman] Today's Kids Try (humming) Why are you doing that? Is it because it smells bad? - No. - [Woman] Well, it's about to. - Eww. - [Woman] You're going to be trying six stinky foods. Close your eyes. (sniffing) - Oh that smells kinda like stinky cheese. - It's tofu with farts. (laughing) (crunch) - It's not bad. - I can handle it because like the sauce kinda taking it away. But like I can smell it. It's pretty good though. - [Woman] This is call Stinky Tofu. - What? Even the name is stinky? (sniffing) - It smells like egg. - [Woman] Open your eyes! - Popcorn! - [Woman] So this is regular popcorn with a specific type of salt. - It's really salty. - [Woman] It's called Kala Namak. - Yeah, it doesn't smell like anything. - [Woman] It's supposed to smell a little bit like eggs. - Ooh yeah, it does. - So they make it out of hard-boiled eggs? - [Woman] Not eggs but sulfur. So sulfur kind of smells like eggs. Farts kind of smell like it too. (laughing) - It tastes good, but it smells bad. - And then you try it. - [Woman] Yes, exactly! Don't judge a food by its smell. - Or taste. - [Woman] Well, I think you can judge it by the taste. (laughing) - [Woman] Wow, you're really dunkin' that salt. - I love it. - [Woman] Okay, you guys really shouldn't be dipping that much salt. If you want salt on your popcorn, why don't you put this in here. Like Salt Bae. - Mmm, good idea! - [Woman] You know Salt Bae, right? (laughing) - It doesn't even stink. What's the point? - It feels like slime, so it kinda disturbs me. - [Woman] So this is a fish that has been dried and then soaked in lye. - Huh. - [Woman] Contact with lye can cause chemical burns, permanent scarring, or total deliciousness! (murmuring) - This thing doesn't have any flavor. It tastes like water. - [Woman] This is called Lutefisk. - Lute-what? - [Woman] Lutefisk. There are some adults that are terrified of eating this. - Because of the chemical burn? (laughing) - My favorite! (giggles) Cheese! - Oh, ewww. - Ewwww! - I love all cheese.
