Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles In 2015, as I was scrolling through youtube to find out what to watch while I was having a snuck, I came across this - here in my garage - as usual, I immediately clicked on that skip the add button as soon as 5 seconds passed. I didn't care, and I didn't pay attention. But then, when I clicked on a second video, then a third video, I kept getting the same ad over and over. At some point, I was curious, who is this, Tai Lopez. Who is this guy who is more proud of his books than his luxurious cars? Well, it turns out that he was once upon a time a young dude with 47 dollars in his bank account. But unlike the rest of us, he found a way to go from 47 dollars in his bank account to doing big things like buying a Lambo! Impressive! right? And then he goes in this almost 1 and half hour webinar explaining the 5 levels of wealth that he wished someone would have taught him in school. He claimed that he is going to show you, poor desperate guys, who are living paycheque to paycheque and are barely paying the bills 3 ways to move higher and higher in that pyramid of wealth. In that 1.5 hour webinar, he basically talks about very, very general things such as find your purpose, build connections with influential friends, stop procrastinating, but if you want real practical steps, then you should sign up for his paid course where he will teach you to build wealth in 67 steps. On the top, it shows the thousands of people who already signed up for this course. 6 million people watched his ted talk, so he must be legit. He even appeared at CNBC, London Business school. Look at how many followers he has on social media. This guy can not be a scam. Then he goes and sticks the pictures of all those famous successful people as if they followed these 67 steps to get successful. In fact, he even says that - These Steps came from the teachings of powerful and famous people like Bill Gates, Charli e Munger, Peter Drucker and Gandhi. He made it sound as if he already traveled to 51 countries when he was just 16 years old, read thousands of books and was mentored by super-rich people who were almost billionaires. Just imagine what he can teach you, he often charges up to a million dollars to be consulted, but you can access his knowledge for just 67 dollars. But what I like the most is the testimonials from dozens of people whose lives have changed after taking his course. They began to make more money, they finally escaped their paycheque to paycheque lifestyle, and they didn't have to put much effort. It was probably one of the most successful get-rich schemes in the history of social media. But Tai Lopez didn't stop there! Why would you stop when you have figured a way to make millions of dollars using social media. So, he launched a second one, then a third, and so on until he was - exposed. But we are not here to expose anyone. There is already a detector in town, so I will leave that for Coffezilla. What we are going to do instead is learn how to set up a Ponzi scheme. It's not as difficult as you might think. In fact, quite often, it's really difficult to Distinguish a Ponzi scheme from a proper legit business! So if you are ready, give this video thumbs, and let's go on a journey on how to run a Ponzi Scheme. But before we do that, you have to master the fundamentals first. Let's say I have managed to save 1k dollars. That sounds realistic to most people, especially if you are in a country like the US. But that's the easy part. The difficult part is to convince 5 people to invest in my business where I can turn their 100 dollars into 200 dollars. Most people are going to reject you because you have no real business, but you can tell them that you trade crypto. That's why you don't have to rent a place and still live with your parents. Let's pretend that after a few weeks of hard work, you could convince at least 5 people to give 100 dollars each. Don't use that money to trade crypto, don't use it to buy the latest iPhone. Just keep it under your mattress. At the end of the month, give each of them back 200 dollars. Yes, you lost 500 dollars, but now you can claim that you have doubled 5 people's money in just under a month with no hard work at all. And these people will vouch for you! Use their stories to prove to others that your methods work. Finding more people to invest in your idea/ business/ skills is going to be easier. Take another 100 dollars from another ten people. And follow the exact same steps. But this time, at the end of the month, give 200 bucks only to 5 of them. The other half who didn't get their money back will be angry at you but tell them that soon they will get double the amount they invested. Now, you have more people (10) who will vouch for you. Use their stories to attract more people. Pay the people you didn't last time and repeat the exact same steps. In fact, when you give them double the amount they invested, tell them that they can either splash that money or they can invest it back. If you want to make more money, they can invest a larger amount, like a thousand dollars or more! It's safe, secure! And if you want to make it sound modern, add the world decentralized into it! Keep repeating this cycle until your pyramid grows so much that you can finally start using part of the money on yourself. If you want to sell a course, it gets easier. Tell everyone how quitting your 9-5 job and starting this crypto trading was the best thing that ever happened to you. You can even use stories from real people, but if you don't have any real stories because you skipped the fundamentals of the Ponzi scheme, just create fake stories, use fake pictures. No one is going to know. Once you make enough money selling courses. Go and take a few pictures on a private jet, go for a vacation, take more fancy pictures and create another course that says how you became a millionaire selling courses online and how anyone can do that as well. Sell more courses, Make more money! And Repeat! But here is the question - Won't people call you out when they buy your course and fail to become rich? I guess, you weren't paying attention. Throughout the course, keep reminding them that the absolute majority will fail. Only those who will work hard enough will succeed. And if you blame others for your failure, then you will never be successful because successful people take responsibility for their lives. So when they fail, they will blame themselves. Look at these people who gave you their money, they have doubled their investments, so if you couldn't do it, there is something wrong with you. In fact, tell them that you have a special course for these types of people. An advanced course! It usually costs 3K dollars, but if they swipe their credit cards and buy it today, it will only cost them $999. But how do you convince people that you are legit? Rent a few luxurious cars, make some great insta pictures, feed the poor, travel to Africa and take a few pictures with poor kids and tell everyone that you are building schools there! Wait a second! Did you make this video just to lour me into your Ponzi scheme? Come on, for god's sake, do you think I have nothing else to do. Why would I waste my time on you when I can use my secret crypto formula to make more money. In fact, I already have more money than I need. I would rather spend this time helping the kids in Africa. The only reason I am doing this is because I care about you! I want you to be as successful. I really want to give this course to everyone for free but to make sure that only serious people are involved, so I don't waste my time on lazy people. I do charge $99 dollars. Call it an investment in yourself. Swipe up or sign up using the link in the description. Except there is no link, and I am not selling you anything. I just wanted to show you how Ponzi schemes work! Don't you ever use this strategy! The problem is that, whether you are selling a legit course that teaches real skills or a fake one, you wi ll have to follow the same strategy to sell it. But some people have taken this method to a whole different level, like Bernie Madoff. He executed the largest Ponzi scheme in history, defrauding thousands of investors out of tens of billions of dollars over the course of at least 17 years. I think he can be called the king of Ponzi schemes. If you still want to sign up for something but don't want to be a victim of Ponzi schemes, here is an affiliate link to Webull.
