I dyed my hair black awhile ago using arctic fox Transylvania and I'm at this point now where I'm finally ready to let go of the hair dyeing adventures and I'm going to start trying to grow my hair out and I'm going to try to reset it back to its original color, which for those of you that are new here And you do not know, I'm a ginger.

Yes, that's right.

I have naturally red hair.

That's why I burned like this when I go outside gardening for five minutes.

We're coming up on the two year anniversary since the first time that I bleached my hair and I went from red to pink when I was in Japan at the start of 2020.

So the two year anniversary of not having red hair is right around the corner and I think that is the perfect time to try to go back to red.

So I'm going to try and strip out arctic fox Transylvania from my hair and I'm going to do it using vitamin C tablets and clarifying shampoo.

I posted this video here which was testing out a whole bunch of different hair color removal techniques and the one that definitely worked the best was the crushed vitamin C tablets with the clarifying shampoo.

So a quick recap of the state of my hair right now.

It was very long, it was bleached, we went into lockdown.

The regrowth was not bleached.

I tried to bleach it myself, it didn't work.

Then there was more regrowth and then because I've chopped it so short, what we're left with is essentially fresh hair, hasn't had any proper bleach added to it.

It's just had hello bubble, which lightened it a little bit and then it had arctic fox, which is just a conditioning color deposit.

So the hair that I'm left with right now is not in the worst condition.

I've been using solar plex on it and it's starting to get a little bit of my natural curl back.

I naturally have ringlets as a kid.

I had a very short ringlets and I haven't seen them in years because of how badly damaged my hair has been.

So, since I started using solar plex, I'm definitely starting to see some of the natural curl coming back out.

But there are still some end bits of my hair and you can tell the difference between the bits that have had bleach on them and the bits that haven't had any bleach because the bits that have been bleached have started to fade out to blue and the bits of my hair that are still black have not had any bleach on them and the bits of my regrowth that are green, that's where my natural hair is regrowing back in and the black is bleeding onto my natural red and it's turning it green.

That's all very, very confusing.

I know, I'm sure that the audience is all just sitting there, like, as I like to say, my hair timeline is more complicated than the X men franchise.

But with that brief road so far out of the way, let's go smash some vitamin C.

I don't know about you, but there's something about 20,000 COVID cases a day and sit in a hair salon for four hours.

So I'm going to leave that now for Probably, let's go 30 minutes to start and will wash it out at the 30 minute mark and see how much of it has budged.

If it hasn't budged at all, I'll reapply and leave it for an hour.

If it's budged significantly I will reapply and just leave it for another 30 or so.

So given the fact that it's like three AM right now, I feel like the sun maybe up by the time I am done stripping, it's just really hard to apply aloe vera gel when you're wearing clothing.
