We're currently on a cross country road trip from California to florida.

And Louisiana is one of our last stops.

So I thought I could stop by here and we can check out some of the sites.

Um There's a lot of things you can do with your dog which I was surprised about.

So I am really excited.

The first thing we're gonna do is do a photo shoot together.

So I usually do these one.

I'm on a solo road trip in europe.

And I saw that new Orleans had one where you can do a photo shoot as well.

And I asked if kuma could come along with me and they said absolutely.

So I'm gonna go and do that now.

Mm hmm.

Alright.

So I got done with the photo shoot.

I think the pictures turned out really great.

The photographer was really nice.

And we just walked around.

The only thing was and the description has said, you know while we're walking I'll get a little bit of a history of new Orleans that she knows about but nothing to get any history on new Orleans.

But I mean the main thing was getting the pictures and I did get them.

So I am happy about that.

All right.

So next we're gonna go get some breakfast at Emily.

All right baby.

I'm ready to go to cafe Emily.

Mm hmm.

Mhm Oh look at this.

It's so beautiful.

Mm hmm mm hmm.

So kuma is just below me under the chair.

She was very tired.

She did a lot of walking.

Um but as soon as we walked in they gave her a nice dog bowl full of water.

You got the chicken and waffles and looks really good.

I think that's like uh some kind of mushroom gravy on top.

All right, I'm gonna dig in.

Come on, come back in.

All right, mm hmm.

Chicken is really good.

Like some kind of rub on it.

A little bit spicy taste.

So awful.

Now it's a little burnt.

Really good.

Thank you.

It was good.

It feels a little burnt but it's good.

I don't know why you want a little bit more.

Hold on, give them a little bit of the waffle.

You go, you like that just be cool.

It's alright.

It's just a good horse.

I just got done with Cafe Emily and it was really great food.

Of course the ambiance is awesome.

And the courtyard is so beautiful.

Could I enjoy the waffle as well?

Right kuma.

So next I am going to Cafe du Monde for some dessert with for those famous bunnies and I've had them before and I do love them.

So I'm really excited to have those again, that's only about a half a mile walk from here.

Oh my God there is this crazy long line to get beignets now.

It was not always like this before.

I mean it was busy before but this is pretty insane.

This line got some bennies.

That line actually went by really fast.

Just seem daunting but it was totally fine and there's Miss kuma, she's in the shade but I have this nice view here.

You can listen to some music as well and then the other side of the Mississippi River haven't had these in so long.

They always put so much powdered sugar.

Good.

You want some water, thank some water.

Good girl.

Alright, I think I'm all full now with food so I'm gonna walk it off and let's go explore some galleries.

Maybe a voodoo shop.

Some of the things we can do with kuma.

Okay, so now we're gonna go over to the side where the Mississippi River is moonwalk named in honor of Moon Landrieu in recognition of his leadership and vision like people relaxing taking pictures, get a picture or a view of the bridge.

Takuma can relieve herself.

Good job kuma and there's a steamboat.

Natchez I think that's what it's called.

Mm hmm mm hmm.

The Washington artillery park is where you can get this great view of that cathedral.

Very nice view.

He won't let you die.

So this dog Robin picks up tips for his owner.

Can't see it from here.

There is, there is picking up the tip.

Oh my gosh, don't be a friend of mine better than yours.

May I see your backstage passes now.

Ah okay this guy is hilarious to where's the tip?

Way more and more and more.

Oh my God.

Oh wow, we can't pick up to oh my God frank that is so I can't get enough of this dog.

Rodrique Studio was one of the locations I wanted to come to because it was dog friendly but it's closed for several days because of health and wellness circumstances that's too bad.

These are cute barkers mhm All right, so next we're gonna go to southern pause which is a pet boutique and bakery.

So hopefully there's something cool for kuma here.

Oh this water bowl is awesome.

Walking so fast.

There's a couple more places I want to check out in new Orleans and that's Waldenberg park and voodoo authentic.

So Waldenberg Park is about a half a mile from the hotel.

I'm staying at Hotel Monte leon and you get a great view of the Mississippi river plus there's grass for kuma.

You can do it, you could do it.

There it is.

Woldenberg riverfront park.

Oh this guy looks beautiful.

Rededicated as well to helping local nationals and international charities and aid of the elderly, definitely lots of grassy areas and kuma is loving it already.

She's like where have you been grass?

She really loves grass.

Okay wow that's beautiful.

So yeah this is the riverwalk area.

I get a nice sunset view with the bridge and then you can just walk this that way leads to the moonwalk and Cafe du Monde.

Alright so now we're gonna walk to voodoo authentic a we're just gonna enjoy this view.

Walk along the path and it's about a half a mile in the new Orleans steamship.

Good job baby proud of you.

So we're back at the moonwalk area or anywhere this afternoon.

So it does connect one last stop, voodoo authentic right here.

I called ahead and they said they were dog friendly.

So just kind of curious, you know voodoo is a new Orleans thing.

So want to check this out.

They're doing hard ratings in there.

No no no no no no no no I'm so sorry this is for attraction and love I think I need this prosperity traveling juju to be your constant driving body and travel companion.

Just hang on your rear view mirror, suitcase or backpack.

This is kind of like the good luck charms at the temples.

Alright so now it's the end of the day and Koumas going crazy, she does this thing where she rubs herself on the carpet when she was pretty tired, she's doing that right now.

But yeah we both had a great time exploring new Orleans.

It was fun like checking out all the things that I never checked out before because I've been to new Orleans so many times.

But today I felt like I explored the different things that I usually don't check out and it was fun checking it out with kuma too.

I mean we got to enjoy some great food, great scenery.

Sorry she's just going crazy and every time I put the camera on her she stops she's like oh I wasn't doing anything.

Anyway.

It was a great day of exploring with kuma.

We had some great food, enjoy some great scenery.

So yeah, if you're traveling with your dog, new Orleans is a great place to come to.
