In their place, Roku has introduced beta channels, which lets developers test channels before certifying them for the Roku channel store. Beta channels expire after 120 days, and only 20 users can install it at one time. In a web browser, open the Roku website and log in to your account. Then open your account page. In the "Manage account" section, click "Add channel with a code." Then enter the code for the beta channel and click "I'm not a robot." Then click "Add channel." Roku will give you a warning about how this is a non-certified channel. Click "OK," then click "Yes, add channel." The channel will be added to your account and will now appear with all the other installed channels on your Roku home screen.
