  • - A piggy watering can!

  • Today, Abby.

  • - And me, Cookie Monster, are reusing empty milk jugs

  • to make this cute little piggy watering can.

  • - [Abby And Tamir] Oink oink!

  • (both snort)

  • - You can use your watering can to water your flowers

  • and plants at home!

  • - Yeah.

  • Come on!

  • Let's make one together.

  • - Yeah.

  • Here's everything that you need

  • to make a piggy watering can.

  • Oink oink.

  • Milk jug with cap.

  • Scissors, glue, paint,

  • cookies, paint brushes, cereal box,

  • cookies, markers, pipe cleaners, cookies,

  • googly eyes, plastic thimbles,

  • and did me mention the cookies?

  • Step one.

  • Make sure that the milk jug is empty and washed out.

  • Then, poke holes into the cap.

  • Make sure that you have an adult help you poke the holes.

  • And tada!

  • We got a watering can, huh!

  • Yeah.

  • - But if we made the watering can

  • then, what are all these things for?

  • - [Cookie] Oh, well we going to use all this crafty stuff

  • to turn watering can into piggy watering can.

  • - [Abby And Tamir] Oink oink!

  • (both snort)

  • - Step two.

  • It's time to paint.

  • Dip, dip, dip.

  • Painty, painty, paint.

  • (Abby hums)

  • There we go.

  • Me piggy watering can is all painted pink.

  • Yeah.

  • How did yours go Tamir?

  • - My piggy is painted.

  • - Yeah.

  • It looks like you got painted too.

  • - Really? Where?

  • - There and there and there.

  • (Abby laughs)

  • - Oh.

  • And my little piggy has polka dot spots!

  • - Oh, those adorable!

  • Hey, that give me idea!

  • Okay, there we go.

  • Piggies got cookie spots!

  • Yeah.

  • Piggy loves cookies just like me.

  • - What's next?

  • - Okay, well that's step three.

  • Yeah.

  • We're going to give our piggies some feet,

  • so they can stand on their own.

  • So we're going to use these little thimbles here

  • that me painted pink.

  • And you can use cork or bottle caps

  • or other items that you have around the house.

  • Yeah.

  • Make sure to ask a grownup to help you glue them

  • to the bottom of the piggy.

  • Step four.

  • Give piggy some ears.

  • Yeah, me cut these triangle shaped ears

  • out of an old cookie box.

  • - I have orange ears.

  • - And I have blue ones.

  • - Okay.

  • Now that we have our ears, let's glue them to our piggies.

  • - Already done, Cookie Monster.

  • My ears are glued on.

  • Oh.

  • - Remember, you don't need to use too much glue.

  • - Whoops.

  • - Wow!

  • You can really see the pig now.

  • - Yes, but can the pig see you?

  • What does the pig need?

  • - Eyes! - Eyes!

  • - Step five.

  • Give you piggies eyes.

  • Yeah, just like these eyes me have right here.

  • Yeah.

  • Googly googly.

  • - Look at my little piggy looking all around.

  • (Abby snorts)

  • - My piggy sees you.

  • - Me piggy sees you!

  • Oinky oinky oinky.

  • Okay.

  • Well me hope you brought cookies.

  • - Wait, why do we need cookies to make a pig watering can?

  • - Snack break!

  • Step six, eat cookies!

  • - [All] Cookies!

  • - Om nom nom.

  • Oh nommy!

  • - Nom nom nom.

  • - Nom nom nom, nom nom nom.

  • - Nom nom nom nom!

  • Break over.

  • Okay.

  • We almost at the end of our craft.

  • And what do you find at the end of a piggy?

  • - Oh!

  • - [Abby And Tamir] ] A tail.

  • - That's right.

  • Step seven.

  • We going to use pipe cleaners to make curly piggy tails.

  • Okay. Now we twist the pipe cleaner around the marker

  • like this to make it nice and curly.

  • - Turning good.

  • Oh, my tail!

  • - Okay.

  • Wow!

  • Piggy tail.

  • - Then, we tape it down to the back of the piggy.

  • - Wow, we did it.

  • We made pig watering cans!

  • - Yeah.

  • Me love how different they all look.

  • Oink oink.

  • - Oink oink! - Oink oink!

  • - Woo!

  • Delicious water.
