When you unmatch someone on Tinder,
you're automatically removed from each other's matches list.
Your conversations are also deleted,
and they won't be able to interact with you
on the app ever again.
There's currently no way to undo this action,
so make sure unmatching is what you want.
Open the Tinder app.
Go to your conversations by tapping on the speech bubble.
Tap on the conversation
with the person you want to unmatch with.
Then tap the shield icon.
In the pop-up menu labeled Safety Toolkit,
tap "unmatch" to disconnect your profiles
and block the Tinder user
from seeing your profile or contacting you.
Tap "Yes, unmatch"
in the second pop-up to confirm your action.
