You will need an Apple Watch and iOS device
to get started.
We'll be using an iPhone.
First, make sure that Apple Pay is set up
on your Apple Watch.
You can set up Apple Pay
by going onto the watch app on your iPhone.
Scroll up until you see "Wallet & Apple Pay."
Tap on "Wallet & Apple Pay."
In here, you'll see the option
to add a credit or debit card,
and you may also see cards that are already on your phone.
Either add a new card or press "ADD" on a preexisting card,
depending on which card you'd like to link
to your Apple Watch.
If you're adding a new card,
you'll be prompted to enter the information on your card.
You can scan your card or enter the numbers manually.
Depending on your bank,
you may have to complete a verification process,
usually in the form of a text message or phone call.
Read the terms and conditions and tap "Agree" to continue.
You've now successfully added a card to your Apple Watch.
When you're checking out at the store,
you may have the option to pay with Apple Pay.
Look for these symbols by the cash register
or ask the associate to confirm.
Position your wrist by the card reader
and wake your Apple Watch
by turning the Apple Watch screen towards you.
The option to pay with your card
should automatically appear.
If it does not,
you can double-press the side button to prompt Apple Pay.
Choose your desired card by swiping left or right
through the carousel.
It'll prompt you to "Hold Near Reader to Pay."
Position your wrist above the contactless card reader.
You should see a green check mark
on your Apple Watch screen.
You may have to enter a PIN or sign a receipt
depending on the transaction and store.
With that, you've paid with your Apple Watch.
