may be difficult to find for new PlayStation 5 owners,

as it's different from prior PlayStations.

To reach the power menu,

first press the PS button on your controller

to access the control panel.

Tab down on the D-pad or joystick

to highlight the bottom control panel list.

Scroll to the far right and click the power icon.

You can now choose to turn off the PS5,

restart it, or place it in rest mode.

Alternatively, you can access the power settings

when in the log-in menu.

If you log out of your profile to switch users,

there will be a power settings icon below.
