Well it's the first monday of May and in fashion we call it a holy day because this is the Met gala.

And not only will we be celebrating the history of american fashion, but also revealing our project together.

So, Philip and I were designed the costumes for american born chinese and this is the first time we are kind of letting the world know what it's gonna look like.

Campbell has designed my outfit.

So thank you Disney Plus the character I play in american born chinese is the goddess of mercy quan yin.

The color has been inspired by the first outfit that I wear as I glide down from the heavens.

It's all about the dress phillips and from our our very creative people.

So they're wonderful to work with in their own way.

They are storytellers.

So it's always very inspiring.

This is historic.

This is coming home, but also a step forward and we've always watched films and from afar have admired her.

But then to find out that she's on a date that I couldn't make that dress for her.

This is this is also real to me.
