We wanted to re imagine that we wanted to make a person that grew up with it feel like that's still their song.

But at the same time we wanted to feel like it's been brought into a new time time.

It's exciting.

It's hopeful it captures the spirit of the proud family at the same time, it retains the feeling of the original it.

What made Joyce Rice great.

When we saw her videos, she had this great spunk attitude.

She looked like she could have been a character on this show and we said, oh my gosh, she's Penny proud.

If we were to imagine Penny proud as a pop star, that's who she would be.

I was a fan of it growing up.

And the theme song is just so iconic.

It's timeless.

It is classic Destiny's Child and Solange saying it and I couldn't stop singing it.

I know it so well.

So for me to kind of like take the baton and do it.

It's amazing.

The theme song is very similar to the original, the production, The b is different.

I just want to put a little bit of my own twist to it and pay my dues and respect to Destiny's Child and current everyone on the original.

She's absolutely amazing and it has a more today edge to it.

It's fun.

It's funky, it's nostalgic.

I think that people are going to be very, very touched by it when the fans hear the theme.

So I hope they just love it the way I do the way Bruce does.
