  • Yeah, hello everyone for this video, I didn't do an intro.

  • So here it is, back in november, Me and my friend Gina met up and we were like, hey, we all like vegan food, why don't we just meet up once we can go and eat some great vegan food.

  • So that's what this video is.

  • I'm going to introduce you to some of my favorite vegan places in Tokyo and they're really excellent and I hope you like them.

  • Also, there's some fun sing along songs along the way.

  • Oh God.

  • Also to preface this, I am not vegan, I'm dairy free, but eating vegan food makes it easy because there's never any dairy in it.

  • Okay, thank you for your patience, enjoy the video transition.

  • We've just come to universal bakes and cafe, which is a place in Setagaya and it's a bakery.

  • It's a vegan bakery.

  • I have featured it before on my channel.

  • So if you've seen that, that's pretty cool.

  • But we just come here again because it's excellent.

  • It's one of my favorite places to go in.

  • Tokyo, even if you're not vegan, the bread is actually just really, really good in Japan.

  • A lot of the bakeries include milk and pretty much everything, all the bread has milk.

  • All the pastries have milk.

  • So it's always just a little bit difficult trying to find bread quick story about this place When we were in lockdown, me and my friend Taylor really wanted to go here, but we couldn't catch public transport would be close to anybody.

  • So we rode our bikes here, we rode our bikes for like an hour and a half each way just to get bread from me.

  • It was really intense But I spent $50 on bread and it was a really great day.

  • Oh Savina, you've never been to this place before, have you?

  • I'm still not over.

  • You cycled an hour just standing here like it's worth it.

  • It's worth it.

  • Some of my favorite things, the sour cream and onion bread is so, so, so good.

  • Never had the mushroom.

  • They also do metal farm muffins now.

  • It's changed so much since I was last here.

  • Okay, they just put out my bread.

  • Oh my God, it's hot.

  • The things that I've had before, the cinnamon roll and the salty macadamia.

  • Salty macadamia.

  • So good.

  • But I really want to try the mushroom dauphine Noah, I don't actually know what that is but holy crap, it's like really soft on the inside, really warm and like there's like a cheese, like a creamy thing, it seems very like melting underneath the mushrooms for the salty macadamia.

  • They use like a croissant and then there's like salt macadamias and I think this is the sweet pumpkin.

  • I don't actually know if it's a dessert.

  • Oh it's week two of em, a veena date, get a burger on a plate and put it in my face in Ikebukuro with my bro, gonna grab some food at Good evening guys, we are here at the second location while I say we, I'm still waiting for venus.

  • She's almost here.

  • I got here a little bit early but we're here for a little dinner date and we've come to to go to uh so I have no idea what I'm going to get.

  • They have heaps of stuff like burgers.

  • I hear the soy nuggets are pretty good as well.

  • Oh man she coming?

  • Oh she running?

  • Oh she's so excited you're running for.

  • He's Mikan looking great and beautiful.

  • We got a big area just for us.

  • Look at this, we have all these menus.

  • Gosh they have so many items.

  • Usually when I go to normal restaurants there's only like a few things I can have on the menu that don't have dairy in them.

  • So when I come to like vegan restaurants and everything is dairy free.

  • It takes so long for me to decide because I'm like there's too many choices.

  • I'm used to choosing between D.

  • And E.

  • I'm excited.

  • There's so many things on the menu here but they have heaps of burgers here.

  • I really like this one.

  • Um It's kinda like a fake chicken style thing.

  • I haven't had any of these like a chili con carney burger or like a soy cutlet burger um Different kinds of curries and salads.

  • Taco rice.

  • Um The soy meat nuggets.

  • I also like to look at the nachos as well.

  • These are really good and they are pretty they got brownies.

  • The puddings, africa ice cream.

  • So I got a katsu burger which has two things of I guess soy sauce with katsu sauce and tata sauce.

  • That's what it is.

  • I was like chunky mayonnaise pickles with the back party in the front cheese bag.

  • Oh it's huge.

  • Good luck.

  • The crunch is really good from the cops.

  • Really relaxed and it's also crunchy cabbage as well.

  • It's just a lot of, a lot of good textures sauce.

  • So it just feels like a very japanese flavored burger but it's really really nice.

  • I'm gonna eat a pickle, beautiful brownie.

  • How is it got to do?

  • Because you can't stop this lady.

  • Mm The caramel sauce they use is so like burnt but I really love it.

  • It's week three and we decided to see also pancakes and luxury hours 24 hours a day.

  • Hello.

  • Once again everybody we've just come to, we're going to be visiting two spots today.

  • The first thing we're going to is called Teas Restaurant you guys might have heard of before which is a very popular vegan noodle place which has a bunch of shops all around Tokyo But this is the same chain but it's these restaurants so they do still sell some noodles but it's mainly like other kinds of cuisine.

  • Last time I was here I got a lasagna.

  • They do nice desserts.

  • It's like a big variety on the menu.

  • So I really, really like it here and it's a completely different to the usual places.

  • So yeah, this is gonna be the first place that we're going to.

  • And then after this we're gonna go to shoot or cafe also venus here once again she's still here.

  • They do sell the noodles like they do at places but maybe with less variety compared to just the noodle places.

  • But here's a bunch of the other stuff that they sell.

  • They have Doria cheese curry, massa man curry, vegetable curry curry.

  • So last time I was here I had the lasagna.

  • It's really really good.

  • I'm a big fan of it but this time I want to shake it up a little bit.

  • I might get the Doria.

  • They also do really good desserts here.

  • Last time I got the number chocolate tart which was bombed a drink.

  • I'm probably gonna do the same thing that venus doing and get an elderflower soda because I love elderflower Oh mm Zane.

  • Okay, my pay Doria just came out beautiful.

  • I don't really know what's going on inside it if it's just gonna be rice.

  • So here is the lasagna.

  • We got the last time that it tasted very nice and yeah, I hope you enjoy exciting mm the crispiness from like the cheesy creamy sauce on top that's been baked.

  • The crispiness is so good.

  • It's just comforting cheesy goodness.

  • How's your lasagna way to get Dessert cafe which is only 70 m away from restaurants.

  • We have lots of pasta salads burgers but their desserts are really fancy.

  • They got caramel, banana pancakes, just normal maple syrup pancakes, whipped cream, they have doughnuts and they have these cafes which looks super good.

  • So I ordered some banana pancakes and a strawberry latte.

  • It looks so so cute.

  • And then I also got a hot chocolate, a little hot choc holte chalky.

  • Really good.

  • The top is whipped cream but it's like a really nice strawberry flavor.

  • That's so good.

  • The pancakes just arrived.

  • Oh my gosh, they're beautiful.

  • They're massive.

  • I hope I can finish them.

  • I'm a little worried because that was very rich and I just chuck the whole thing that we got a little bit of caramel, thought a little bit of a drizzle.

  • Oh sexy.

  • Oh baby it tastes like banana bread tv.

  • Really?

  • I love banana bread.

  • The caramel is excellent.

  • Week four end we're in and we're gonna eat what we want to, we're gonna eat some grilled meat but it's not real meat.

  • Oh that's neat o okay, I know this place looks like meat.

  • Hell but you gotta, you gotta hear me out for a second so we're not going to go get meat today.

  • We've come to.

  • Yeah, so I've heard about this place from a lot of friends of mine and it's a normal yak in a place like they do regular meat but they just started doing soy meat.

  • It's a solo yaki nicu joints.

  • So you get to have your own little private booth and get to grill your own meat.

  • Which I think is great Because a lot of places you go with a bunch of people, it gets really expensive.

  • You all get a bunch of drinks and you'll end up paying a huge amount afterwards if you just want a casual like cheaper.

  • Yeah.

  • Clinical experience than just going by yourself to one of these kind of places is great.

  • So made from soy will come back.

  • So here's the soy meat you've got next to B and next two different cuts of meat.

  • I guess you got your own little private grill in front of you and next to Vienna.

  • Very cute.

  • But otherwise they're like fully private bud's personally we are vegan, we're just doing this because vegan food is great.

  • And we wanted to show it to you guys.

  • But if you are vegan it depends if you're okay being in the same restaurant is meat because this is a normal place.

  • They just happen to have vegan meat.

  • So it's up to you.

  • It has arrived.

  • It looks crazy.

  • Realistic.

  • Alright, here we go.

  • We're going on the grill.

  • No.

  • Mhm.

  • Okay.

  • So I got some lemon and I got some show you might do a mix of stuff.

  • I have some garlic as well.

  • Okay.

  • Right.

  • It looks crazy.

  • It looks like a supercharged.

  • Super nice.

  • Yeah.

  • Right.

  • Mm hmm texture.

  • Initially it's like, oh my God, this is really good.

  • Soft, crispy meat.

  • And then gradually it's like, oh that's not me.

  • There's like a little a flavor difference.

  • It doesn't really taste like meat, but it's a really good replacement Water.

  • Everything.

  • And I'm full and it was only 820 and so cheap.

  • What the heck.

  • Okay, we just finished and now we're gonna head to get dessert and one of my favorite places, actually, probably my favorite place.

  • Yeah, because it's all dairy free.

  • I get my desserts that we're going to wide bon bon baby baby.

  • Okay.

  • We just arrived at the final place for the video.

  • We're going to wide bon bon cafe and big white bonbon is in shinjuku illuminate something.

  • They do regular food as well.

  • But mainly the best thing here is the vegan desserts.

  • Here is the giant menu.

  • There's so many things to choose from.

  • They have all of these pa phase their fruit, berry banana, apple, caramel, cookie mont blanc and chocolate milk, a banana.

  • These are amazing.

  • The big ice cream sundaes with fruits and cream layered underneath as well.

  • And they have this fairy floss around the outside, which is really good.

  • I've had both have creep rallies where they really at the top of the crepe with some sugar.

  • These are actually really good.

  • The ghettos.

  • What I usually get is I'll either get the chocolate cake or the creme brulee or if I'm having a bad day or a great day.

  • I'll have both.

  • It's so good.

  • Or I'll have like a strawberry bonbon because that's really good too.

  • But here's a little lemonade mika and got very cute, very nice.

  • I love the little lemon slices.

  • Just classy.

  • My strawberry bonbon has arrived.

  • Look how big that boy is.

  • Veena got a chocolate banana bonbon.

  • Oh, Oh the reveal have my ice cream sundae here with my fairy floss.

  • Yeah, they use a different kind of sugar for the place.

  • I don't know what kind it is.

  • It's really good.

  • I think it's almond milk ice cream.

  • It's just really delicate and delicious as someone who's eaten almost every dessert of this place.

  • I recommend all of them.

  • They're all really, really good and they're all really unique as well.

  • I guess you also didn't film an outro.
