In WhatsApp, tap "Settings" on the bottom right corner.

Then tap "Chats."

Then tap "Chat Backup."

Tap "Back Up Now."

You can also enable automatic updates

by tapping "Auto Backup"

and logging in to your iCloud account

and choosing your backup frequency.

If you're backing up on an Android,

this is where you would tap "Back Up to Google Drive"

and set the frequency.

Then check to make sure the correct Google account

and WiFi network are selected.
