They just have different spellings and different meanings. Our words today are: lode - which is a rich source or a vein of metal ore and load - heavy or bulky a lot of ore, to charge with ammunition, or to put into or onto um a vessel To say these words correctly, we have three sounds. Start with that l. Tip of the tongue touches the back of the top front teeth where the teeth meet the roof of the mouth. Air moves out of the mouth for that sound. Next we're going to move to the o. To do that open in a wide oval tip of the tongue is down back of the tongue is pulled nice and high up. And then move to a pucker. As you move to a pucker your tongue is just going to go along for the ride and it will end flat in the middle of your mouth. And then touch the tip of your tongue to the back of your top front teeth and pull it down for the d, as the air puffs out of your mouth for that d sound. Your voice box is on and moving.
