  • Pediatricians are doctors that help kids.

  • Pediatricians use all kinds of tools

  • like an ear thermometer to check your temperature.

  • They listen to your heart with a stethoscope.

  • - [Smarty] And check inside your mouth

  • and throat with a tongue depressor.

  • Sometimes doctors give you shots

  • to keep you from getting sick.

  • There are all kinds of doctors,

  • like dentists who take care of your teeth

  • or optometrists who take care of your eyes.

  • No matter the kind of doctor,

  • they all wanna help you be healthy.

  • - Boy, being a doctor is really important.

  • They help people every day.

  • the doctor needs to check their heartbeat,

  • And sometimes they take them to a dog park,

  • where they can play with other dogs.

  • A scientist is someone who observes,

  • questions and investigates to find out more about something.

  • There are all different kinds of scientists,

  • like geologists who study rocks and use tools

  • like hammers to collect and learn more about them.

  • Entomologists study insects

  • and they use magnifying glasses to get a closer look.

  • - Cool, Elmo didn't know there were

  • so many different kinds of scientists.

  • Now it's time for me to make like a comet and fly!
