  • everybody.

  • So we have a super typhoon, a really big one coming now and you know it's funny because it was sunny about three minutes ago and very quickly that has evaporated, bringing us some super dark clouds coming over the city, you can actually smell the rain.

  • In fact it looks like it's coming this way.

  • The rainbow bridge being engulfed in clouds, just low hanging stuff.

  • There's a band coming through now.

  • These bands are, it's like Lollapalooza, you know every 15 minutes the band's change so it'll it'll downpour and then it'll get sunny again and it's supposed to I guess come to this area more strongly around five PM.

  • Um Leo and I are going home, we're playing in a playground when it got really dark so they're almost home so don't worry they're gonna make it just fine.

  • I don't know if I will because I'm gonna stay out a little bit longer because I'm crazy ish.

  • Now we know that.

  • It's leo are you gonna be okay?

  • It's windy.

  • Look at my hair, look at her hair.

  • Yes.

  • Flying around.

  • Is this supposed, is it going to come to Tokyo?

  • Do you know?

  • Yeah, I think so.

  • Yeah we better clean up the balcony for safe too.

  • Uh to fly some our staff to the other neighbor.

  • Alright.

  • Yeah, leo, leo is ready.

  • You ready for the super typhoon?

  • He had to get some playtime in because once the rains come down it's gonna be like this for the rest of the day.

  • So any little bit of playtime is very useful for for little leo and his little feet.

  • He's cheering on the runner?

  • That's awesome.

  • Alright.

  • You better go home first.

  • You so duck.

  • We saw a bird crash into the water because the winds are too strong.

  • Look at those boats, they're battening down the hatches right here.

  • Oh wow.

  • Are they gonna be okay?

  • Alright, can I leo you better go home?

  • Okay leo buddy, I'll see you back in like five minutes.

  • I'm right behind you.

  • What?

  • Yeah I can I he really wants to go to the but he wants to go to the park.

  • What happened?

  • Oh yeah there's what are they gonna do?

  • The ducks?

  • I don't care about the crows.

  • Alright this is, it's getting a little creepy here.

  • Hey Danny, happy to see you again.

  • Have a nice day and stay safe.

  • Thank you Danny.

  • This is the Toyota area and you can see the clouds just rocking through the city right now leo you better go home buddy.

  • It's gonna start to it's gonna start to pour.

  • I my feeling is about five minutes from now.

  • In fact if it hasn't already over there and that's where we live, you want to he wants to play more.

  • That's why he knows he's going inside safety first leo.

  • Okay can I?

  • You better get out of here, okay?

  • Is he safe?

  • He's buckled in okay just go just go just go just to go, the rain is coming right now?

  • All right?

  • I'm gonna I'm gonna go towards La Lockport.

  • You gonna what are you gonna do?

  • You going to Lockport or you're going back home?

  • Okay go quickly.

  • Just go by okay by.

  • Just go quickly.

  • I already feel the rain.

  • Just go can I?

  • I'll try to get back as soon as I can.

  • Oh I'm gonna lose my hat.

  • We're going to the to the shopping mall.

  • Oh gosh look at this, it just came out of left field.

  • Oh it's raining.

  • Oh crap parking garages up there.

  • Oh my gosh it stings the right yeah right right back.

  • They're not gonna make it, they should have came to the shopping mall.

  • Oh no leo can I are you gonna be okay?

  • Which they should have came this way?

  • I knew that they weren't gonna make it.

  • He's coming bands so it's not gonna last very long.

  • The thing with the typhoons, I thought we had more time.

  • It's not that bad.

  • She's on she's on a battery powered bicycle so she can move really fast but It takes about five minutes to get home from here.

  • There's another father bringing his kid in, wow wow.

  • Just kind of stay out of the oh my gosh I'm not gonna stay here for very long, I'm gonna go back and get them.

  • That was crazy.

  • Alright it's already starting to settle down a little bit so you can see it's a lot Lester in my bike just crashed right there?

  • I got my back the wind is being blocked by the building.

  • So this is a super typhoon.

  • We're kind of used to it.

  • But um, I don't think we were ready for that because it was sunny.

  • That's the thing.

  • Like when we left her apartment not too long ago, it was sunny.

  • Like you didn't see any kind of, I mean clouds or anything, I guess you have to keep checking the radar or something.

  • But these bands, they come in really much like waves, you know, and if you get caught in it, it's not ideal.

  • Alright, the rain is kind of is subsiding, stay out of the hail.

  • It's not hail, it's rain.

  • Okay.

  • It looks, it looks like the rain has subsided a little bit more and that, that view is completely changed.

  • I can't even see the rainbow bridge anymore, it's gone, the boats are gone, they're underneath all those boats went underneath the bridge over there, that was smart.

  • I'm only about 57 minutes away from home from here, maybe 10 um, Ask city when the rain will stop.

  • I don't know, it's supposed to be using android as a protest, wow that came fast.

  • The ducks are gone.

  • They're just holding on.

  • There are some enclaves, some places that they can go up on the side there, there are some birds trying to fly in the winds over there.

  • They're not doing such a good job, but this typhoon, it's moving its way up Kyushu, it's probably somewhere down and Yamaguchi Hiroshima Tottori Shimane.

  • So there's um sorry, I gotta take the microphone out, there was some water detected inside of the lightning poured and it turned it off.

  • Sorry guys, so the microphone has changed a little bit windy now I'm gonna move over here, wow.

  • Hey Arthur, thank you Arthur vandal, I appreciate that.

  • That's gonna, we're gonna have lunch in this area too because today is a holiday.

  • It's a, I believe it's like respect for the elderly or um give thanks to your grandparents day brad studio.

  • He has grown a lot.

  • Thanks buddy.

  • Today's a holiday here in Japan and you know, and I wanted to do something today.

  • She actually looked outside the window and said boy, it's, it's sunny, let's go to an outdoor restaurant.

  • So I'm out here because she's, she's out here.

  • I hope she's gonna be okay.

  • I wish she had just come with me.

  • The one thing I learned is that, I don't know, she's don't argue with your wife, but I think you should knowing that it comes in waves, you gotta go safe and get out of the wave and then come back in and then I'm pretty sure she got nailed, it would have been worse.

  • It would have been worse because we were going, we were on our way back home anyways if we were trapped out there, it would have been a lot harder alright.

  • It's starting to, it's starting to go down now.

  • So that that that's you just saw a perfect example of what the typhoons are like.

  • And as the typhoon gets closed as the typhoon gets closer and closer to the city of Tokyo, uh you're gonna have heavier and heavier rains.

  • But I believe the eye of it is gonna be going on the sea of Japan side.

  • But this typhoon is so big, it's gonna have an impact on on the entire land mass.

  • That is Japan raking the entire island.

  • I'm not sure what the speeds are.

  • We haven't been really keeping track of the news.

  • Um We woke up and then the first thing what happens is uh we hide the remote control so leo can't watch tv because we're trying to decrease.

  • We don't want him watching tv more than like an hour to a day.

  • But when the tv is on, he's watching like like Youtube cartoons and stuff right now.

  • It's tom and jerry.

  • There's one where Tom is swooping down on a on a airplane tray and he drops a watermelon and one of the little three cats swallows it and he becomes a watermelon shaped cat.

  • Leo really likes that kind of violent actually.

  • Bye!

  • Hey john Michael, thank you buddy.

  • There's the whole cartoons of the fifties.

  • I love the ones from the fifties.

  • The new ones are just too colorful and too hyperactive fifties ones are they're pretty cool.

  • All right.

  • The wind.

  • The wind is pretty strong and I had to jettison the, get rid of the microphone.

  • Ex external microphone.

  • So the audio is not gonna be as good.

  • Right now.

  • He's making a break for it right now.

  • He's between the waves.

  • Oh man, That was exciting.

  • Okay, I'm going back home.

  • I'm gonna actually, I think I have about five minutes.

  • I'm not good at judging time.

  • So I might actually just go to Starbucks and get some kind of coffee to warm her up.

  • That makes sense.

  • Right?

  • Get her something that she wants and then bring it back and then call her.

  • I'm kind of worried that they might have gotten stuck somewhere.

  • There's no place to shelter that way.

  • That's one of the reasons I said to book here, but don't argue with her if you know that, I don't know.

  • What do you do if you know that they're going on a, on a, on a mission that's going to fail.

  • Do you still go with them or do you do you preserve yourself?

  • That's one of the things a things we could discuss.

  • Like I knew they were going to get caught in the rain, but she still wanted to make a break for the house and I knew that I know that she is what she wanted to do because that's what she told me before we started the stream.

  • I'm going home.

  • I said, okay, just go home.

  • I should have gone with her.

  • Yeah, I shouldn't have come here.

  • I knew I was john is that even a question?

  • Yeah, I should have gone.

  • All right.

  • This is a training for me.

  • I learned my lesson.

  • Don't split up with your family.

  • You're supposed to stick together, supposed to stick together.

  • I've seen all the horror movies.

  • You're supposed to stick together with your family.

  • Even if she want to go the other way.

  • I'm supposed to grab her and go, No, that's not the right way either.

  • Rock scissors paper.

  • I don't know.

  • How do you decide that voting?

  • There's not enough time.

  • Let's split up.

  • That's never the first three good words.

  • It always ends up with you being taken out with two words.

  • All right.

  • I don't know.

  • Come back on tonight.

  • So we know you're safe.

  • Thank you Travis.

  • If if there's something interesting going on in the sky or there's a way for me to show you a little bit more of this.

  • I want to give you what an experience is like, Wife is always right sir.

  • Lance Geo think.

  • Yeah, you're right.

  • I'm probably gonna hear it from her when I go home.

  • It's my fault.

  • Lack of judgment, but in hindsight.

  • Yeah.

  • Don't split up with your family.

  • I've watched enough movies to know that it's not.

  • And read enough books.

  • You can't find each other when, when stuff like this happens.

  • You get lost.

  • You find each other in a refugee camp three weeks later.

  • Maybe walking dead?

  • The rain has picked Ondo is in Ibaraki and the rain, this wind and it's probably this streak is coming your way.

  • So that's how it goes.

  • So in between these, um, we might even have some sun again.

  • So in between these bands is like really nice weather and then it just comes down like this and you can actually see there's some sun breaking through.

  • Should have stayed with your wife, Natsumi.

  • I know in hindsight, I didn't think it was gonna be so crazy, but I kind of, you know, I don't know.

  • Alright, I better just go rain turned to sunshine here.

  • Yeah.

  • Alright, let's, I gotta get back, I'll go on instagram and then give you an update on how things are and we'll hear, can I side of it or maybe I'll just go live again and the nice side of it.

  • You see john get beat up by his wife deservedly.

  • So I'll call her B first and see if she wants anything and if it rains, I'm just going to have to suffer through the rain, but it's worth it.

  • If I can bring her gifts, perhaps I can get out of this jam.

  • Do you have any suggestions?

  • Leave in the comments below on how to, if you leave your family behind in a natural disaster, what gift would you buy to make it up to them, you know, no fancy dinner.

  • Is that enough?

  • How fancy one where I have to wear a suit.

  • Not apple, not apple pie.

  • Okay, worm coffee.

  • I think you mean warm.

  • Right?

  • Jewelry.

  • Raw meat.

  • A gun.

  • What Leo went with mom because it was safer with her.

  • But I think it would have been safer with me.

  • Get her an iPhone 14 pro.

  • That actually would be a symbolic gift, wouldn't it?

  • Deluxe cup noodles.

  • Hi, john or is that a john?

  • I'm not sure.

  • 50 £50 gift certificate.

  • That's even more than dollars and yen.

  • You know the exchange rate on that?

  • That's like 100.

  • Get her a boss coffee.

  • $300 watermelon.

  • I think you guys aren't married.

  • I trust people with good judgment.

  • Yeah.

  • Natsumi, you will know what to do.

  • I think I know what to do.

  • I don't have to ask my suit not to me.

  • I know what to do.

  • All right.

  • I'm gonna call her see if she's OK.

  • Offer to bring her something until I'm coming home right away to help her with the balcony.

  • McDonald's.

  • Look who wrote that.

  • I me right here by your McDonald's.

  • Oh yeah, she's not 12 your happy meal.

  • Wr extra booze in the house.

  • Alright, everybody.

  • Um I'll see you in another live stream.

  • Hopefully it was not the typhoon gets me and it'll be, can I?

  • But that's on me.

  • Get her a strong zero.

  • She doesn't drink alcohol.

  • You guys gifts are?

  • I'm telling you right now.

  • If I if I hadn't get my gift ideas from the Internet, I've lost, I get I know what to get her go now, the more you wait, the bigger the gift will be okay.

  • That's actually it's actually probably true.

  • Alright.

  • I'll see you on the other side.

  • If something happens, I'll go live with.

  • My priority now is to get her a gift and go home after I see that she's safe, right by everybody.

  • Oh my gosh, go home now, Okay.

  • Okay.

  • Okay.

  • Okay.

  • Okay.

everybody.
