  • Okinawa, they have a lot of different Okinawa special snacks and flavors that you can get all the different kinds of comedian stores here.

  • So we just went Familymart and there's so much sara.

  • Sara went ham on the snacks.

  • I bought a lot and there's a lot of liquid so get ready to drink.

  • I'm ready to ingest liquids.

  • Shall we start first off, okay, this is something that I think you're like a big fan of this.

  • Here we go.

  • She called it wait what?

  • This is a weird package for msu it's like it's like a pop top drink but it's, it's alcohol.

  • They make it look so fun and summary.

  • I know yeah, I thought it's got picasa in it which is the Okinawa citrusy.

  • Also we're sitting on my bed.

  • So hopefully this doesn't end in like a smelly bed, like a wet bed.

  • I'm going to give you an ice cube.

  • Just one because I think it's going to drop it from the height.

  • I can smell it.

  • It's so strong.

  • I can't smelly she grasses so far.

  • So thank you for choosing this for me.

  • That's alcohol.

  • I cannot taste the Shigemasa.

  • It's just alcohol and I mean I love you but I've never been served msu in this kind of party.

  • This is so much how this is so much.

  • I don't know what it is and I also don't know what it is that there's alcohol do que.

  • So basically is one of the most famous and well known drinks here.

  • It's basically, it's kind of sucking it shot you, isn't it?

  • Yeah, it's only really available.

  • I mean they sell it throughout all of Japan, but it's known to come from.

  • So I'm gonna go, it's a fancy packet gold straight fun cups of alcohol.

  • They're selling the company is insane.

  • Just strange.

  • Don't make me sorry, I'm looking away.

  • Mine doesn't feel to the brim.

  • So I think we can put about two in.

  • I also want to mention there was so many different types of this kind of like fun pop alcohol.

  • Also very like intense alcohol.

  • This is quite easy to drink, surprisingly like he can be really strong, but this one is quite light, I could, I could take a gulp careful guys Sarah is as they say, a lightweight.

  • That's like drinking basically water.

  • That's so easy to drink.

  • It's a bit scary scary.

  • Yeah, the packaging does not look like water.

  • So don't get drink alcohol though.

  • I think the second set felt stronger than the first day.

  • I was like uh yeah, it's very easy to drink.

  • But they have lots of different types of memory here.

  • You can mix it with lots of things, but maybe we'll have some more later.

  • How about we go for a snack?

  • This is something I've been wanting to try and it's famous here.

  • Have you had it before?

  • It is just black sugar.

  • I gotta be careful though because the texture sugar though, it's all sugar but the texture is so good.

  • I'm gonna give this to you.

  • Oh, I don't know what is it before we film this show is like, I know what to give you guys go to family and by this and she said this bread is really famous and you have to share with friends.

  • I don't even know.

  • I think it's peanut butter.

  • I never buy it because there's a lot of stuff in it.

  • Like sarah loves bread european bread, but the bread there's a lot of like random things are going to preservatives and a little sugar milk and random things that pop up like you just slab of butter in the middle for the sake of this video.

  • Is it knuckle or like it's really dry as well?

  • No, I think I ended up eating more of it just by the peanut because it's actually pretty good.

  • Jordan liked it too, but Europeans, I don't think you'll like it.

  • But anyway, to wash that down, you're drinking this baby drinking a baby salty Shikapwasha.

  • So this is a popular brand here.

  • Burley's burley's burley's, They have a lot of different juices.

  • The guava juice is really good and that sold out.

  • Thanks to popular guava juice is good.

  • They got mango, pineapple and salty but I haven't had the cheers, cheers.

  • I'm a fan.

  • Yeah, I like that.

  • It's not too intense with the Chicago because sometimes I make my mouth because it's very sour and but this is really like mild citrusy and a little salty.

  • I would like to copy everything you just said except for the saltiness.

  • The oranges like really refreshing.

  • Have you had it before?

  • It's really light, it's not too sugary pleasant.

  • What is that Pokemon?

  • So ever since we've got, you know, I've seen this like Pokemon collaboration with the flying pikachu with the balloons and I don't know what it is, but it was the Okinawa theme section, so I'm a little scared that pig is.

  • I don't think so.

  • I think it's going to be with something inside maybe.

  • Oh, it's definitely, it smells like that.

  • But yeah, it's dry.

  • Oh, I've never had dry, it's very strong on the tongue.

  • It's so hard.

  • I can't say I enjoy it, but it's like almost good.

  • I will never eat that again in my life.

  • I'm eating ice to get rid of the pain.

  • I'm sorry Japan, Why do you advertise this with the pikachu?

  • I love pikachu.

  • This was so rough, it was like so sweet and salty and sour, the amount of saliva, it created this insane.

  • So apparently this is actually really popular here and I'm so sorry to any japanese people watching or people who actu like this.

  • If you come here, it's good to try new things and you might actually like it and you can be like, look this stuff really, it would be cool.

  • So you should try it.

  • So this is something you have to pair with the baby classic of the region beer.

  • Chicken skin had with the beer, so it's a kind of Umami which is snack to have with beer or alcohol.

  • Usually they're pretty salty, pretty savory.

  • This is huge, man.

  • Is that just a chunk of chicken skin?

  • It's like a piece of karate, but it's just skin, I never know how I feel about chicken skin because I love chicken skin on, when it's like with chicken, it's like a little treat, but when it's just the chicken skin and it's cooked until it's this hard.

  • It's like there's a kind of flavor to it that I'm like, it's good.

  • But there's just something about them.

  • Like actually with beer, it is really good.

  • I feel like the beer gets rid of all the weird taste and just leaves like the spices and stuff.

  • The big one was actually good.

  • Maybe it just took me a second to get used to the flavor.

  • It's flavored with salt and pepper by the way.

  • That was more flavor than that.

  • Very flavorful and quite nice.

  • If they were at a party, I would eat it, but I don't know if I got my way to buy it again.

  • Also, the Orion beer is delicious, but I'm going to call it a Ryan.

  • Oh, Ryan, you have to drink it just the same way I drank my own issue.

  • It's the same container.

  • This is so risky.

  • Why is it so full something and coffee.

  • No, it's wait, it's alcohol.

  • It's alcohol.

  • I'm terror opens it.

  • So it's like an irish coffee in the morning.

  • It's an Okinawan coffee at night.

  • Imagine like you can't read japanese and you know, it doesn't seem like that's something I think it's a subtle coffee.

  • Yeah.

  • Can you taste the alcohol?

  • You can taste this is actually really good.

  • It's like a big old hit of alcohol and a little like major coffee, alcohol.

  • That's alcohol with a touch of coffee, you are very accurate in your description.

  • Not bad.

  • I can taste the hint of Espresso.

  • I heard this over the other 100%.

  • Yeah, coffee really makes it.

  • And I was like, I want to try.

  • Nice.

  • That's a big, that's a big chip.

  • That's amazing.

  • Absolutely love that.

  • That should be a flavor everywhere.

  • So like somebody refreshing like a tangy flavor.

  • Not too much cute designs.

  • Got the sheets on it.

  • A little light is crackers, crackers.

  • I'm not a deer though.

  • I feel like I associate this kind of with.

  • Yeah, I mean these are, you will hear the crunch and you'll hear if it's mostly air if it's dense.

  • Mm hmm.

  • But I like it.

  • It's very plain.

  • It needs salt.

  • The salt is good.

  • I don't know if I buy it again, but if I was on a ship, like the lady in the image I'd eat it.

  • I'm not a huge sunday person.

  • But this is one of my favorite sunday so far in my life.

  • The texture is nice.

  • It's very puffy and once you chew it a while you get like a nice thing going on.

  • Yeah.

  • I also want to mention that Okinawa is famous for their like salt.

  • So I'm actually, and at the back it tells you a few ways you can enjoy it.

  • Put it on top of your Taco rice, which is the popular dishes that you can make it into toast and then put chocolate and caramel sauce on top of it.

  • I've got one on each.

  • You have a spare and I have a veggie taco rice.

  • Not just in theory, it's a spam musubi.

  • Okinawa dish and spanish really popular here because of all the, the american influences and the flavor is poking egg spicy miso.

  • Oh, I didn't know it was flavored.

  • And this one here is I believe vegetarian friendly.

  • So usually taco rice is made with meat mince.

  • But this one has kind of like soy meat, nice spine.

  • It's the flavor from the spicy miso was excellent.

  • The texture of the spam is wonderful.

  • The convenience of the sushi being held by the and then this one here is really pleasant.

  • I love it.

  • How is it?

  • It's good because taco rice is vibe thing.

  • It reminds me of sushi back in Australia.

  • Like sushi here is not really wrapped like this.

  • I feel like it's a lot of like the triangle on the series and then something in the middle in Australia.

  • A lot of them are just kind of these like Maki Sushi.

  • This one, What is it?

  • It's animals.

  • Well, this is chocolate.

  • Oh, it's really soft.

  • It just melts.

  • That's wonderful.

  • Good packaging as well.

  • Really good.

  • Oh wow, this is going great.

  • And they're all little animals, aquarium animals.

  • Apparently if you put these in the fridge, they taste good too.

  • Okay, Next we are going to eat some like the brown sugar, peanut.

  • Oh, you don't like peanuts?

  • Please do not feed me that.

  • Excellent.

  • I like this.

  • If you like peanuts and peanut you'll love it.

  • Kind of like one of those bars where they have peanuts and they're kind of stuck together with honey or we have Okinawa soba and super morning, super noodle time.

  • They look incredibly plain Sarah's especially just looks like noodles and water.

  • It looks like zero.

  • But I'm sure that there's some secret flavor hiding amidst clear to you know what I think because it says maybe it's meant to be plain because it's for the morning.

  • Also mine has a hilarious plain noodles and there's there's one guy right?

  • There was like a little bit of Nagy and sugar but they did not add any flavor.

  • The texture of my noodles is great.

  • Mine has great flavor.

  • Mine's good.

  • What is up with yours?

  • Surely we're missing something.

  • It's really, really good at a lot of flavor.

  • It's delicious.

  • I like the texture though.

  • It's chewy guys, Have we done it wrong with those?

  • There was no missing packet apparently.

  • That's it.

  • But have we done it wrong?

  • So we don't have like a proper freezer so they're a little melted but we have two types.

  • Which one would you like?

  • Oh oh what is?

  • Oh this is cookie Gordy.

  • Okinawan shaved ice with brown sugar syrup and soybean flour.

  • That's super interesting.

  • What did you get?

  • I have a vanilla and cookies ice cream from blue seal.

  • This is our final snack by the way.

  • Oh the end, wow.

  • It's just whoa it's just a whole layer of soybean flour.

  • Look at that is that much on top.

  • Mm.

  • Mine is still good even though it's melted, they've got like bits of choc chip in the middle.

  • Mine is really good.

  • It's a mix of ice cream, shaved ice.

  • So they're just like ice chunks in there and then I believe and co and black sugar syrup, wow, that looks great.

  • It's actually really bombed.

  • It reminds me of the Hagen dart's special that they release in the winter.

  • They cannot honestly, when you come to Okinawa you're gonna get a lot of ice cream.

  • Like we've had a lot of blue seal at the shop but I didn't know they had at the convention.

  • So it was kind of a fun surprise and they had a couple of other flavors.

  • But if you do come try the chin school on a gary, the chin skull Blue seal ice cream.

  • Okay, so that's the last of our snacks and we have to decide our favorite.

  • I know there's really good stuff in here.

  • My favorite was the potato chips.

  • They're really good.

  • I think you like you have a sweet tooth.

  • So I do, I think the chocolate ones, chocolate, the chocolate or the texture is amazing.

  • I could just eat like a bucket of these.

  • I know it's really dangerous but they're really really good.

  • It's just like a fluffy chocolate.

  • It's quite high quality like snack.

  • Either that or just the cocktail, the sugar cube of sugar.

  • It's really good.

  • But honestly they were all awesome.

  • I'm kidding.

  • No one was really rough but for a snack video I haven't tried most of these, all of these things and it's all surprising and a lot of it was delicious.

  • So if you come to Okinawa you've got to just go to the comedian store and find as much Okinawa stuff as you can.
