Look at this super tiny little shrine.
It's even got a tree running right?
It's tiny, like barely fit inside of here.
It's a nice little shrine.
Love this.
It's a great way to start the morning.
I have a flight to catch it like 745 but I need to quickly swing by my studio and grab some stuff.
I got hit by a truck, something like 2.5 months ago and I just kind of put life on hold.
I've just been in Tokyo ever since.
I'm looking forward to seeing what things are like now that the borders are open and that Japan has reinitiated its domestic tourism campaign.
I've been doing physical rehabilitation after the accident and I've been healing up pretty well by the way well enough that today we're heading back to Kyushu since it's still like six a.m. Luckily the train wasn't crowded.
Beautiful terminal terminal to the international one is over that we're traveling out of terminal one today should be interesting to see just just how crowded again.
Okay, so mentally it's a little busier in here than I expected.
Also, this is why I don't really like the domestic terminal.
The international terminal is always bright and beautiful.
But no matter what time you come here, the domestic terminal makes it feel like it's nighttime.
It's just so dark in here but there's a vending machine for hats in case that's something that you want to get you to and Baskin Robbins and the information stand has a cute little robot.
Does he have a name.
Okay, how is it lately?
Getting busier.
Thank you too.
So I'm on the hunt for coffee but all the shops and whatnot seem to be closed.
I've never seen this before.
This is nice.
Like I can see the coffee machines in there, but nothing's open.
Should be another space down here.
We've got a cafe and lounge travelers.
Coffee opens 15 minutes after my flight leaves.
Okay, okay, I made my way to the lounge today.
I swear it's actually getting darker out.
How is it?
Let me adjust the camera here.
This is what it looks like right now.
How did the whole day turn into this?
Listen, I'm just happy that I have coffee though, fingers crossed out.
The weather improves a bit when I get to Kagoshima since I'm supposed to be flying today.
It has been it's been months, It has been months.
It's an exciting day and it's really hot coffee.
One thing I will definitely say is I don't remember the music being this loud and invasive in the lounge.
Remember the lounge is being really quite like this.
Alright, so I have this really bad habit of working in the lounge far too long and now they're calling my name.
These walkways are always so disorientated.
It feels like the VR heads up from luke skywalker's headset as he's flying down the trenches of the death star.
There's a Pokemon plane out there.
So all is well with the world.
Okay, the plane is pretty much packed.
With the exception of my emergency road here.
Almost every seat on this plane is packed moderately impressive for a 745 am flight and I've got a perfect view of the Pikachu plate.
Kagoshima airport also seems way busier than usual.
It's usually empty when I arrive.
And right here at the airport, there's this little hot spring foot bath thing as well with the little Sakura Jima volcano and this guy.
So that's also a thing.
Also just a personal favorite of mine.
Look at the airport, police station and the tiny little police car.
I love it so much.
It's so small.
I'm not actually leaving the airport by the way.
I'm heading down to a hangar that's at the very end of the runway, But the runway for Kagoshima airport is two km long, so it's a little bit of a walk.
So I was chatting with some of the flight attendants on the plane and they were telling me that even before the travel campaign kicked off that there was a fairly large spike in travelers and that a lot of the planes have been booked solid likely people trying to do the smart thing and beat the travel rush.
But there's also been some really shady news lately of Hotels and stuff like that, doubling and tripling their prices for right after the travel campaign starts.
That kind of price gouging isn't cool and it really stands out now because of the abundance of cheap hotels available.
Like I don't think I've paid more than maybe 5000 yen for any hotel I've stayed at in the last year.
There are more expensive hotels.
I'm just really cheap and there are a lot of budget options available so that, that's a huge bonus.
I love hearing the helicopters also this here is where the day gets really good.
I see blue skies off in the distance very, I am literally giddy like my heart is racing, I'm so excited before we head in one small request there's a 30 day money back guarantee for Nord VPN and they have done so much to help out with.
Well if you're interested and you can please go check them out, give them some love in fact let's do the Nord VPN sponsor role right here this section will be a paid advertisement for Nord VPN.
You probably know Nor VPN or have heard of them if you're new to VPNS though and are wondering what they do.
The simplest explanation is that they can make your computer or device look like it's accessing the internet from another country or location.
Now this can be particularly helpful in say for example accessing some of your favorite streaming content from other countries if it's locked within your own country.
But I personally use it for two main things.
Number one for example, today at the airport using public wifi.
I always used Nord VPN for public wifi.
The encryption helps keep me safe and without that it's essentially like being out in the Wild west and the second one which feels really appropriate now that the borders are open and we're talking about travel is using a VPN to look like you're booking your hotels and whatnot from within the country that you are hoping to go to can often have the potential of leading to cheaper hotels and whatnot.
I use Nord VPN on all of my devices and if you want to give it a shot you can use my unique U.

In the description box down below along with the code Tokyo lens to give yourself a two year plan at a huge discount as well as four extra months for free.
And as I mentioned before there's the 30 day money back guarantee.
So you can literally try it risk free just to test it if you want to huge thanks to Nord VPN for all the support that is the end of the sponsored segment and and there's somebody here, I want to talk to what looking really fancy today.
What is this plane?
What is nemo fila fila?
I think it's a rocks rock band, japanese rock band, it's real gold.
Seriously painted.
They're playing with real gold.
Okay, all right, is that what you wanted to show me paolo.
Yeah, a couple of days ago this plane here is called an islander and this is the only one in Japan.
It is beautiful.
It is loud.
Apollo runs this place that's a pretty new engine just arrived.
It's going to be, please tell me it's going to be that Cessna because that Cessna has been naked since the first time I came here.
Yeah, pretty long time.
One of the maintenance guy that is really loud is doing an engine run up right now.
This one's Paulo's plane and it's an a 36 bonanza.
It's a little loud if you ever actually want to come out.

J.
A runs flight tours like new over volcanoes into island.
You have to get ready for the flight.
I do, I do, I'm gonna go do that proper clear Kagoshima tower Juliet alpha 4061 ready for runway 34 line up and wait for title.
I 321 Turn left and go 340.
I've missed that.
That might have been the best flight yet.
My last landing there was admittedly quite terrible.
But that is the exact reason that I record all of my lessons so I can go back and rewatch them and review also, speaking of flight at the time that I'm releasing this video in case you somehow managed to miss it.
I'm actually giving away a free flight to Japan.
It's just a single round trip flight with no hotel or anything like this.
It's pretty much as small as it gets.
But I'm so excited that I can, you don't even know like I am pumped that I can finally do this and I'm still waiting, hoping, fingers crossed on the back end that another creator or company or sponsor will jump in and do a giveaway of their own and we can start getting a bit of a domino effect on this and I need to find my key.
Oh, by the way, I have had a sponsor contact me and say, hey, we, we would like to participate in this giveaway in some way, shape or form.
It's early days.
So that's all I can say about it for now, but there's still going to be some time before I announce the winner.
So the potential is there.
But if you're one of those viewers who watches to the end, you're probably fine.
There's now a mosquito in my car in october, there's a mosquito in my car in october.
That's just, that's super lovely.
Last night, one of our heights, we coined the term trifecta squad for the people who watch early, watch all the way to the end and leave comments and all of that.
This mosquito just does not feel safe.
I opened up all the windows to get rid of the mosquito.
I think it worked, definitely got bit in the face.
But in that video I said that I play favorites and I play favorites hard and it's true and that trifecta squad has grown so much in the last year.
So to all of you who hang out to the very end of the video with me and spend your time leaving comments and whatnot.
Thank you.
I love you and I think you're wonderful.
The mosquito is still in the car, The mosquito is still ok back to the windows down.
I'm never gonna get this thing out of this car, nope nope, nope, nope, nope.
All the doors and windows getting open, it just doesn't feel safe to drive at this point.
It's definitely multiple mosquitoes.
Like there's a lot of them Japan has these like mosquitoes that have like these black and white stripes and they're really aggressive and I didn't know that the doors back here slid.
I'm pretty sure this is the first time for me to ever open the back doors of this car.
