I had such a great time.

The first thing we did was stand-up paddleboarding.

We arrived on site at about 8:30 a.m., and started the activity at 9.

Wow, that's really early.

When did you set out?

I left my house at about 6.

It was early and I was tired.

But the early-morning ocean view was worth it.

OK, so how was the stand-up paddleboarding?

It's like nothing I've ever experienced before.

There's something special about standing on a board that's floating on water.

It does seem kind of amazing.

Did you stay in one spot?

No, the guide led us to a few secret spots along the coast, and we paddled through a cave under some rocks

We left our phones on the shore out of fear that they might accidentally fall into the ocean, though.

And just spent some time on the beach soaking in the sun.

What did it feel like?

It was unbelievably relaxing.

It was almost as if I was the only person in the world.
