ANDRE: And I'm Andre. This is "What's Up, Disney+," where we talk all things Disney+. [UPBEAT MUSIC] It's senior year at Seabrook High. That's right, Zed and Addison are back, and things are about to get out of this world with "ZOMBIES 3." JENNY: After having finally accepted that their town is inhabited by zombies and humans, the residents of Seabrook are in for a surprise when aliens arrive to compete in the international cheerleading competition. But do they really come in peace? ANDRE: Now, we get to hear from the cast and crew of "ZOMBIES 3" about what it was like returning to Seabrook with some new intergalactic friends. Take a look. "ZOMBIES 3" starts off pretty much where "ZOMBIES 2" left us. The stakes are very high for Zed right now. We find Zed really eager to get into college. If he doesn't get into college, that could mean the end of his and Addison's relationship. Addison's main concern is that, too, that they're not going to be going to college together because she wants to be together forever. But also she's gearing up for the big cheer-off, which is like a really, really big deal. CHANDLER KINNEY: And out of the clouds down from the sky-- There's an alien invasion. We have a whole new group coming and joining us. And we're trying to figure out what they want. It's all about whether we can come together or not. What sets this film apart from the first two movies is just that it's bigger. ZOMBIES 3 takes all the best parts of ZOMBIES 2 and just adds to it. PEARCE JOZA: There's also so many storylines to follow in "ZOMBIES 3." The biggest one in my opinion, are the aliens. How are they going to impact each and every character? A-Spen is a queer and nonbinary alien. And they are really excitable, curious, very childlike. I'm excited for audiences to see quite a few things about the aliens. One in particular is the goofiness that they are, and how excited they are about everything on planet Earth, because they've never experienced anything like... a door, and they don't know how to work a door. But they love it, and they're so enamored by it. TREVOR TORDJMAN: There's different music, different songs that you've never heard before in the ZOMBIES franchise. ARIEL MARTIN: Yeah, learning the music and dance numbers for "ZOMBIES 3" was so much fun. We rehearsed for about a month. And we worked really hard and everyone in the cast was so supportive. Like listening to all the songs, I was just like-- like, could it even get any better? I think everyone's just going to love this one, because I think you can tell how much effort we put in it, how much we love it so much, and how much we love each other. I hope audiences take away the message of inclusion. Having conflict leads to conversation, which leads to growth and seeing things from different perspectives, and progress. People learn to accept and love those who are different from them and learn to appreciate their differences. There's still a common ground where we're able to get along through acceptance. In honor of our final year at Seabrook High, we're nominating our fellow castmates for Seabrook superlatives. Trevor. Trevor is the class clown. Trevor. Me. [HISS] [LAUGHTER] Chandler and Kylee, toss up for me. Yeah. I feel like Kylee would stay really calm. Like if something crazy was going on, Kylee would be like, it's fine. Kylee is like cool, calm, and collected always. I feel like Kylee. Bring it on. Me or Ariel? Yeah. Oh, shoot. I think I think you because of your character. I was going to say, I feel like me and Meg would be like, "Hey!" And then they'd be like-- Me and Ariel would be like, "Oh my god, hi." - No, Ariel, totally. - Yeah. Yeah, totally. Yeah, you two for sure. Help. Help. Chandler. She sings all the time. Final answer, Chandler. Yeah, I think Chandler. It'll be Chandler. I'll take it. Chandler? Probably Ariel. Oh yeah, Ariel! I think Ariel. Chandler is good at dances! Chandler does know all the dances. Ariel knows pretty much-- Ariel, Chandler, and you. Yeah, me, Ariel, and Chandler, the dream team.
