Right this way, buddy. - Morning, Elijah. Hey, how are you doing? - Ah, good morning, Frankie. - You should get him in front of the camera, Dad. (both laugh) - All right. This is it. - Oh, I love visiting you at work, Dad. This is the coolest place ever. - Well, this just isn't any old visit, Wes. It's Bring your Child to Work Day. Today, you're part of the crew. - Oh, yeah, and I got my own badge and everything, just like you. - Ha. And a tie just like me. - Oh, yeah. Grandpa gave it to me. - Mm-hmm. - He'd be so proud of me on my first Bring your Child to Work Day. - He would be proud, just like I am, son. - Ah. Thanks, Dad. - Now, today you are gonna get a chance to work with all these amazing people. (chicken clucks) - And chickens? (chicken clucks) - Chickens, what? No, no. What is there a chicken doing in the studio? (chicken gobbles) - Hello there, it is I, your cute, furry news reporter, Grover, reporting to you live from our studio for Bring your Chickens to Work Day. (chicken clucks) Mm, yes. - Grover, it's Bring your Child to Work Day. - Mm, pretty sure the memo said chicken. (Harriet clucks) Now, Harriet, Elijah here is called a media whosa-whatsit. - Ooh. - Yes. - Oh. I'm a meteorologist. I'm a scientist that studies and explains the weather. - Isn't that what I said? (Harriet clucks) Oh, yes, Harriet. That is called a camera. No, no, no, no, no. That is very expensive equipment. Do not peck at it! (Harriet clucking) No! Do not peck at the paper! (Wes laughs) (Elijah laughs) - Oh, man. All right, come on, Wes. I'm gonna show you the weather map. - Cool. - All right. Right in here, buddy. (both laugh) - Dad, I don't see the weather map. - Well, it's behind us. (Harriet clucks) Through a television trick, our crew can put any picture on this blue screen. Look. - Wait. (Wes gasps) (Wes mutters) (both laugh) I see the weather map, Dad. That's amazing. - We just can't put anything blue in front of it, or it won't work. It'll disappear. - Yeah, that would be pretty silly if that happened. (Harriet clucks) Come on, Harriet. Let's fluff up your feathers in the hair and makeup room. (Harriet clucks) - Grover disappeared. And this right here is where I stand each day and tell everyone what the weather will be. Good morning. I'm meteorologist Elijah with today's weather report. Ugh. And it's a cloudy day on Sesame Street. But remember, whatever the weather, there'll still be sunshine when you smile. So what'd you think? - That was great. (both laugh) How'd you know you wanted to be a meteorologist, Dad? - Well, I've been curious about science and weather since I was your age. And I loved watching the meteorologist on TV every morning. - Oh. And I love watching you every morning before school. (Elijah laughs) Thanks to you, I'm always ready for the weather. - I found a job that is perfect for me. And I know you're gonna find one that is right for you, son. - Oh, like an architect. - Oh, you'd be a great architect. - Or an airplane pilot. - Oh yeah. - Or a teacher. (both laugh) - I'll be proud of whatever you decide to be. - Aw, thanks, Dad. (Wes laughs) You know, I'm not sure what I wanna be yet when I grow up, but today, I wanna be a meteorologist just like my dad. - Well, that's great, because it's time to practice your weather report. - Oh, okay. - All right. You stand right there. Okay? - Okay. - All right. Whenever you're ready. - Um, okay. (Wes clears throat) Hi, I'm meteorologist Wes, bringing you today's weather report. It's a cloudy day on Sesame Street. Great for visiting your dad at work. Right? (Elijah laughs) 'Cause I'm here, but remember, whatever the weather, there'll still be sunshine when you smile. (Elijah laughs) (Wes laughs) - Wow, ha, ha! You said that there'll still be sunshine when you smile part just like me. - Yeah. - You're gonna have to come to work with me more often. That was great. - Please. - With you around, it's always a sunny day. - Aw. How sweet. A moment like this is certainly nothing to bock at. (Harriet clucks) I said not bock at. (Harriet clucking frantically) Ah, I think Bring your Chickens to Work Day may not have been the best idea. - No. It's Bring your Child to Work Day, Grover. Oh. (Wes laughs) - And it's perfect. (Harriet clucks) (all chatting) (beep) (upbeat music)
