This public stunt was meant to encourage people to rely on trains instead of all trying to drive to work.

While the event looked like a ton of fun in our world, we don't think the show's Jakarta residents would enjoy it as much.

After kicking off the shows events in 2003, the 20 year time Skip takes us to the present year of 2023.

This change was likely made because the prospect of a global pandemic.

Unfortunately no longer seems like science fiction, the adjusted timeline arguably makes the last of us into a more relatable story than it already was.

What if that were to change?

What if for instance, the world were to get slightly warmer?

Well now there is reason to evolve.

Number 32 story beats take different turns, Joel and Sarah's first encounter with an infected person notably plays out very differently between two mediums.

In the game, a frenzied neighbor breaks into the miller home and is brought down by a decide gun shot.

The show features an old friend of Joel's running out of her home before he delivers the final blow with a wrench.

What are we doing outside of that plot point?

The biggest change revolves around Joel's deal with the fireflies.

He initially agrees to work with this organization in the game to get guns that he was promised I need something smuggled out of the city.

You do that, I'll give you your guns back.

Then some in the show, Joel works with the fireflies to get his hands on transport so he can help his brother.

The live action adaptation definitely adds more urgency to his firefly deal.

Firefly vehicle usually means repurposed venture stuff, so better than decent chance making it to Tommy in one of those.

If Ellie's reaction in the first episode is any indication the scenes between the duo will be incredibly emotional.

Number one Tess actress Anna Torpy played a major Playstation character before.

Tess was by far one of the most dynamic and interesting characters we met in the premier.

Anna Torpy did a fantastic job bringing humor and complexity to the tough survivor but long before she portrayed tests the actress, lent her voice to a playstation exclusive character named Noriko King from a distant country seeks the heavenly sword.

He seeks it as a symbol of his dominance over my clan.

This fictional warrior went on a quest to save her loved ones from a horrific tyrant.

Two orbs nuanced vocal performance was definitely appreciated in both the heavenly Sword game and film, admittedly the movie adaptation wasn't that well received, fortunately, the last of US show has already been hailed as one of the best video game projects.

Yet we're glad Tour was brought along to another stellar playstation adaptation.
