sunflowers. Its flavor is mild, with a medium  yellow color and crystalline consistency at  

room temperature.But It can be liquefied by  raising its temperature slightly. Beekeepers  

can produce this honey by placing  beehives near fields of sunflowers,  

prompting bees to collect nectar from these  flowers. Once the field is no longer flowering,  

the bees must be moved to a new sunflower  field in order to produce more sunflower honey,  

otherwise these bees will move on to other  nectar sources. Sunflower honey is notable  

for its antimicrobial properties and contains  small amounts of vitamins and minerals. Its  

slightly floral, sweet flavor and fairly neutral  scent make it a good blend with other mild honeys.
