escape from reality and can be a reflection  of their creator's thoughts, feelings, and  

experiences. J.R.R. Txqxaolkien's Middle-Earth, a  complex world with its own languages, histories,  

and races, is an excellent example of a  paracosm. Likewise, C.S. Lewis' Narnia,  

a magical world accessible through a wardrobe,  also fits the definition. Paracosms are commonly  

associated with childhood but can persist or  even develop in adulthood. Artists, authors,  

and creative individuals often create  paracosms as a tool for their work,  

manifesting their inner universe into  tangible art, literature, or even game design.
