I also got my girl Yako with me behind the camera. Hi guys! Alright, let's get into it. This should be fun. As custom in Japan, we had to take off our outdoor shoes and put on one of the two pairs of indoor slippers we were given by the Dream Sleeper bus. We said our final goodbyes to the Kanto bus staff, then got on our way for this overnight trip on the Dream Sleeper bus. Okay, we are officially on the Sleep Dreamer. Wait, Dream Sleeper. Dream Sleeper. We're officially on the Dream Sleeper. So we're going to be driving from like 10.20am to about 7am, so this should be interesting. Whoa, we should not be standing right now. The Dream Sleeper is a one-level bus with 11 private rooms. Konnichiwa! Welcome to our bus. This is our bus. This is Q's room for tonight. Oh, so it's like multiple dimmable lights. Inside the room, you have so many extra features. For starters, we'll start with the best thing, the zero-gravity seats. I wouldn't say you felt like an astronaut, but you know, it felt good. Oh, this is cozy. Is it? I'm going to sleep just like this. The rooms also have power outlets and USB ports to charge your cell phones and all your electronics. We also got a pair of over-the-air headphones. We can put those on, cancel out the noise of the bus traveling, and just rest easy for the night. There was a table that would fold down from in front of you for you to do work, but I mainly used it for eating since it was so late. I feel like this is going to be a very interesting trip. I'm super tired. I'm super hungry. And we got private rooms. Check this out. I think the fact that each room had its own door gave you a certain level of privacy that made it feel a lot less like a bus, but a lot more like a hotel on wheels. What's poppin'? It's your boy. Welcome to my bus. Hey, let me give you a tour. Come inside, come inside. So, this area is my desk. I like to chill here, you know what I'm saying, do my thing. Let me show you my next spot. You know what I'm saying? This is your old Gravity. What's poppin'? You know what I mean? I'm chillin' now. Hey, kid. Yeah? Want to try the aroma thing? It smells good. Keep me fresh. This is cool. Let's see your room. Yeah. It's a little messy, but... The bus attendant helped us with our shoes and put them in plastic bags so we can store them under our chairs or in the overhead bin. Looks like we have a cover. Yeah. Here, it says, like, this time, thank you so much for using our Dream Sleeper. And, um, have a nice time. It says, like, your lid. Oh, probably something you put over your ears. Earplugs. Yeah, earplugs. And just... A mask. Oh, eye mask? Okay. Yeah, eye mask, and... Oh, so this is, like, pretty good stuff, actually. This is, like, a gentle steam eye mask. Mmm. This thing. So, like, when your, like, eyes are, like, so tired... Yeah. You just gotta, like, open it. You gonna put it on now? Yeah, like, on my eye. And it's gonna, like, warm it up. Ooh. So, I'm just gonna sleep in. See, cute. Yes. It's warm. It's warm already. Whoa. Oh. So, I'm just gonna put this on my eyes. Mm-hmm. Because this thing is gonna warm it up. I'm just gonna put this thing. Oh. That looks hella cozy. I can just sleep right now. All right. Let's see what else we got going on back here. Yeah. Got a bunch of rooms. We're the first people on the bus, so we got it all to ourselves right now. But in a minute, it's gonna be people in, like, all these rooms. So, we're gonna be, like, way quiet. That's our bathroom. That's right. On the bus, there was also one shared bathroom for all the passengers. There was a separate powder room to freshen up in. You can brush your teeth in there. This is a room where you can go in there and wash up real quick, so you don't got to walk around smelling like you've been asleep on a bus all night. I mean, it's pretty tight. I was coming fresh off of a 24-hour challenge where I tried to live solely off of vending machines all day. I was really struggling finding some hot food off these vending machines. So, the fact that I got to sit there and just pig out on all of this good food was amazing. Time to dream and sleep, baby. So, before going into this, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the overall experience was great. Once I got to sleep, I did not feel shaking at all. I was knocked out in a serious way. One of my biggest questions coming into taking this trip was why would you take an overnight bus in comparison to just catching a flight? But now I think I see why. Why wouldn't you just travel overnight instead of paying for a hotel when you can just catch one bus and travel while you sleep and end up where you need to go in the morning? Alright, so we just got to Osaka. How are you feeling about that whole ride? Oh, now I feel like I'm alive because I slept whole thing. So, you thought the Dream Sleeper was definitely worthwhile? Yeah. I mean, clearly, you literally was dream sleeping the entire time.
