Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles We're back with Japanese stationery that's so specific, it's almost too specialized. Click the card and watch Part 1 to see all these specific writing instruments. Everything is linked in the description below and at JetPens.com, the place for pen and stationery lovers. Let's begin! Connecting StickersNever lose printouts again with convenient connecting stickers! The Kokuyo Choi Plus Sheet Connecting Sticker lets you attach loose sheets to notebook pages. It ensures straight alignment and adhesive-free fingers using a two-step process. The added sheets fold away neatly, too. When you're done, dump the adhesive backings into the special trash pocket in the packaging. Kokuyo also makes stickers to reinforce and protect hole-punched paper. The One Patch Hole Reinforcer is a stamp that helps align and attach stickers to punched holes. Keeping them in pristine condition or patching them up from existing tears. Paper Matching Correction TapesMost correction tapes only come in one color, blinding white. But some Japanese brands make tapes that match specific paper colors. Kokuyo Campus Correction Tapes were made with Kokuyo Campus paper in mind, but they work with other off-white papers. Midori offers MD and Mopka Correction Tapes to match the color and texture of their MD paper and most cream color paper. Plus also makes Wiper Petite Correction Tapes for tiny and medium-sized mistakes alike, although it's a slightly darker cream. Check out our blog linked in the card above to see which tapes best match your paper and notebooks. Convenient Page FindersThe Sun-Star Index Punch makes it easy to flip to the right page of your journal or planner. The punch has two modes, a side punch and a corner punch. Instead of adding page flags or dividers that jut out, use the side punch to add index notches for different months or topics. Then use the corner punch to mark pages you finished and leave an indicator for the next unused page. If you like the idea of the corner notch but don't want to fuss with the punch, try the Midori Pato Quick Open Memo Pad. The pages are lightly glued together along the left side, creating a tidy block of unused pages. When you're finished using the sheet at the top, flip it back to separate it from the clean pages. The next time you need a new page, just go straight to the top of the stack. No need to waste time shuffling through loose pages. As an added bonus, the glued stack feels more stable to write on, since the pages won't wiggle around beneath the pen tip. Laptop-Friendly NotebooksUsing a laptop is convenient, but when you have limited desk space, it's hard to add a notebook to your workflow. To solve this annoyance, Japanese companies like Clyde, Rolban, and Kokuyo have created notebooks that fit perfectly in front of laptops. The Clyde Original Landscape Notebook comes in A5, just oriented horizontally instead of vertically. It's filled with cream or white 2mm grid paper that's great for fountain pen users. Delphonic's Rolban Horizontal Spiral Notebooks are half as tall as an A5 notebook and feature wood-free cream graph paper, twin-ring binding, and clear pockets for holding loose sheets. The Kokuyo Campus Half-Size Notebook is half B5 size. Since it's lightweight, you can carry multiple notebooks for different subjects. It's available in 6mm and 7mm dotted rule sheet styles. Reflecting JournalsThe Midori 12-Month Diary offers a unique layout that lets you record thoughts and events for each day of the year. By comparing the same day every month, you'll notice and reflect on subtle changes in your feelings and habits over time. It's like an analog monthly version of Instagram's On This Day feature. The journals use Midori's fountain pen-friendly MD paper. If you like this format and you're ready to graduate to something long-term, try Midori's multi-year diaries. Pick from 3, 5, and even 10-year options. Did any of these products catch your eye? Let us know in the comments! You can find all of these products in the description below and at JetPens.com.
