  • Vice President Kamala Harris making a direct Harris highlighted Republican support for her campaign.

  • She also emphasized her Republican rival's attempt to overturn his loss four years ago, seeing the Democratic stakes of the election are high.

  • Harris said Trump's actions violated the U.S.

  • Constitution, and if given the chance, he will violate it again.

  • And now the baton is in our hands.

  • So I am joined today by over 100 Republican leaders from across Pennsylvania and across our country who are supporting my candidacy for president of the United States.

  • And I am deeply honored to have their support because at stake in this race are the democratic ideals that our founders and generations of Americans before us have fought for.

  • At stake in this election is the Constitution of the United States, it very self.

  • We are here today because we share a core belief that we must put country before party.

  • Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issuing his strongest comments yet on his country's year-long dispute with India.

  • Trudeau says India made a horrific mistake as he accuses it of violating the country's sovereignty.

  • The remarks come two days after Canada kicked out six Indian diplomats, linking them to last year's murder of a Sikh separatist leader and alleging a broader effort to target Indian dissidents in the country.

  • As I've said a number of times, we are not looking to provoke or create a fight with India.

  • Top U.S. officials have told its allies it must take steps in the next month to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza or face potential restrictions on U.S. military aid.

  • The United States will continue to make the following clear.

  • Food and supplies must be surged into Gaza immediately.

  • And there must be humanitarian pauses across Gaza to allow for vaccinations and the delivery and distribution of humanitarian aid.

  • A quote-unquote policy of starvation in northern Gaza would be horrific and unacceptable and would have implications under international law and U.S. law.

  • The government of Israel has said that this is not their policy.

  • The U.N. has long complained of obstacles to getting aid into Gaza and distributing it throughout the war zone.

  • Israel's U.N. ambassador, however, insists Hamas is to blame for assistance failing to reach Palestinians.

  • There is now barely any food left to distribute and most bakeries will be forced to shut down again in the next several days without additional fuel.

  • Given the abject conditions and intolerable suffering in northern Gaza, the fact that humanitarian access is nearly non-existent is unquestionable.

  • The real issue is Hamas.

  • This terrorist organization has hijacked the aid, seizing it for their own purposes.

  • They steal, they store and even sell the aid that is intended for Gaza's civilians, turning humanitarian relief into a profit machine.

  • Instead of feeding the hungry or caring for the sick, Hamas uses the supplies to feed their terror machine.

  • Hamas's exploitation of international goodwill is not new, but the scale of their corruption and violence against their own people is staggering.

  • At least 147 are dead in a fuel tanker blast in northern Nigeria.
