Cube Entertainment just announced that Seo Soojin will be withdrawing from the girl group G-Idle.

The agency apologises for having caused concern through the controversy associated with our artist Soojin.

Today, we are announcing the decision that Soojin will be leaving the group.

G-Idle will henceforth promote as five members.

We will continue to do our best and provide unstinting support so that G-Idle can show their growth in music and performance. Soojin has been on a hiatus since March of this year following bullying allegations against her.

Here's what happened.

On February 20th, a netizen said that it was time to expose Soojin as she bullied their younger sibling in middle school.

They said that all the people in the world needed to know and that they were sorry to all the other members of the group besides one person.

But they couldn't ignore the pain their sibling suffered anymore.

They went on to say that while in middle school, Soojin called their younger sibling and a friend of the sibling to the restroom and then slapped them.

After this, Soojin apparently spread messages across the entire school declaring that the younger sibling should now be treated as an outcast. To this accusation, a fan asked for more details on the situation.

The netizen responded with, "The school violence related to Soojin is not misleading and I am the witness and the evidence.

My anger won't wash away when I think about the people that don't know what Soojin did during school." Unfortunately, this is not the first time Soojin has been wrapped up in controversy.

Another netizen previously posted a photo of Soojin's middle school yearbook album photo and revealed, "Soojin smelled of cigarettes every day and would go around with older guys and drink alcohol.

She would say she was dizzy from drinking and her attitude and behaviour in disregarding people was a big shock to me." They also stated that she would curse at her friends and would not return items after borrowing them.

But this post was deleted due to backlash from fans. A few hours after the bullying accusation, Cube Entertainment released a statement saying, "After confirming with Soojin, we have learned that the online netizen is the older sister of one of Soojin's former classmates.

Soojin has also confirmed that in the past, she got in an argument over the phone with her classmate and the older sister, who overheard their argument, also took the phone from the However, claims made by the victim's sister regarding school bullying has been confirmed as not true.

We ask that the members who are moving forward step by step towards their dreams will not be hurt anymore.

Going forward, we will be taking legal action against those that post false rumours for malicious purposes and we will not take any pre-emptive action or leniency in punishment in the future." After this, the netizen's sibling, who is the alleged victim, came forward to say that she was friends with Soojin briefly as they went to the same tutoring school.

But one day, the tutoring school contacted her mother and told her that the sibling seemed to be associating with some delinquents.

As a result, the sibling's mother forbade her from going to the tutoring school the next day.

But Soojin kept messaging the sibling and demanded that she show up to the tutoring school.

The next day, Soojin then spread the message to the school stating that the sibling is an outcast from now on and she was then bullied by many kids during school, including delinquent boys who were close with Soojin.

The netizen also pointed out that some other netizens have begun to come forward to support her case, claiming that they also went to the same middle school and witnessed the incidents. After all this took place, another netizen, B, came forward to say that she also attended the same middle school but was not in the same class as Soojin.

However, she remembered that Soojin was known to everyone in the school as she would stand outside of the school gate and collect money from juniors.

Apparently, she often stole money from kids and would also be accompanied by an older male student, who had a history of attending juvenile detention.

She also recalls Soojin being caught for smoking on school grounds on several occasions.

B also claimed that Soojin attempted to steal her the North Face coat and when B refused to give her the coat, Soojin slapped her and left nail marks on B's cheeks.

Soojin would draw on her coat with a permanent marker just to bother her.

B revealed that after confessing these events to her parents, she moved to a different school. Right after this, child actress Seo Shinae uploaded a mysterious story on Instagram which said just the words, "none of your excuse." Turns out, Shinae also attended the same school as Soojin and has confessed in the past that she had been bullied quite a lot in middle school, with kids spreading rumours about her.

Netizens believe that this may have something to do with Soojin as they are the same age meaning they would have been in the same class. And that's all for this video.
