  • 10 Difference between India and Taiwan

  • Number 3

  • House Party

  • Taiwanese people are very calm

  • Animals

  • In India, we do dance

  • Hello my YouTube family, welcome to today's vlog

  • In today's vlog, we are going to talk about the 10 difference between India and Taiwan

  • These are two different countries and let's talk about some interesting and some common difference between these two amazing countries

  • Let's check it out

  • If some people don't know, my name is DJ and I'm from India and I'm living in Taiwan for 6 years

  • And this is the second video on this topic

  • If you didn't watch the previous one, check it out here

  • The very first difference is

  • Dinner time

  • In India and Taiwan, the timing difference is very different

  • In Taiwan, usually dinner time is 5.30 to 7 o'clock

  • But in India, it's about from 8 o'clock to 10 o'clock

  • In Taiwan, I usually eat dinner at 9 o'clock

  • Number 2

  • Contact Lens

  • Most of the Taiwanese people have contact lens

  • All my friends around me in Taiwanese, they all have contact lens

  • I don't know why

  • But Indian people, I don't have contact lens

  • I think 70 or 80% Indians don't have contact lens

  • Maybe it's because of genes

  • Or maybe Taiwanese do watch lots of videos on smartphones or play games or whatever, I don't know

  • Viewer sightedness is on the rise due to the overuse of mobile phones and other devices

  • The number of patients with retinal detachment is going up too

  • National health insurance data show that

  • Retinal repair surgeries have jumped 20% over the past five years

  • Maybe I think it's because Taiwanese food is very healthy

  • So I don't know the reason

  • Maybe you guys can tell me

  • And the number 3

  • House party

  • Taiwanese people are very calm

  • And they don't really party a lot

  • Like they do party

  • But they do just like sitting together, singing and that's it

  • And because they don't really make a noise

  • Because in Taiwan there's a rule

  • After 10 o'clock you cannot make a noise

  • But in India we do crazy

  • We do house party like crazy

  • And we do the dance

  • We're singing and a lot of noise

  • I know it's bad

  • But we do enjoy it

  • Yeah

  • Because when I was an undergrad student

  • We do lots of party at house

  • And sometimes police came

  • Yes

  • Number 4

  • Low marriage versus arranged marriage

  • In Taiwan 98% people they do the low marriage

  • Of course they choose their partner by themselves

  • But the remaining one maybe they die alone

  • But in India the ratio is very different

  • Maybe it's like 60 and 40 or 40 or 60

  • I'm not sure exact

  • But like 40 and 60 mostly

  • But now it's increasing

  • Like usually people they choose their partner by themselves

  • But in the ancient

  • When my parents get married

  • They don't know each other

  • Even it's still happening around in India

  • And sometimes it's good

  • Sometimes it's bad

  • Of course choosing a partner by yourself is always good

  • But think about the guy who cannot find a girl

  • So it's good that parents can find a girl for him

  • Taiwan is not like that

  • If you cannot find anyone you will die alone here

  • But not in India

  • So number 5

  • Animals

  • We Indian love animals

  • Of course Taiwan is also love animals

  • In India every street you can find dogs

  • You can find cows, buffalo, elephants, cats

  • But

  • So

  • Not in Taiwan

  • You cannot find this even a single dog in Taiwan

  • Number 6

  • Rice cooker

  • Yes that's also a difference

  • In India we have a rice cooker

  • That's very different than the Taiwanese rice cooker

  • We only call it cooker

  • And that cooker it looks like this

  • Which has a whistle

  • And when it's boiled

  • Then the whistle will come

  • And the air will be going out

  • So that's also a difference

  • And in Taiwan the rice cooker is similar to like this

  • And in Taiwan every home has this cooker

  • And in India every home has this cooker

  • Number 7

  • The steering wheels

  • In Taiwan all the vehicles have steering wheels on the left side

  • But in India it's on the right side

  • The reason because in India having the right side

  • Because we all we follow the rules from the UK

  • And Taiwan follow the rules from the USA

  • Number 8

  • Rains

  • When it rains in India we do dance

  • But in Taiwan when it rains people take umbrella

  • They don't really dance

  • I live in Taiwan for six years

  • And I have never seen someone taking shower in the rain

  • But we Indians do like to take shower in the rain

  • When I was kid I was enjoy it a lot

  • Like when all the time when raining come

  • We just go to the street and enjoy it

  • Oh Shaktimaan

  • Number 9

  • Cats

  • Most of the Taiwanese house has a cat

  • So especially Taiwanese girls they like cat

  • So all the homes they carry the cats

  • While in India it's very rare you find a cat in someone house

  • Number 10

  • The dogs

  • What kind of dogs we carry in our home

  • Most of the Taiwanese have smaller dogs

  • Like they really look cute

  • Because they treat it as a pet

  • But in India we also have dogs

  • But we have huge dogs

  • Like this

  • Like this

  • So in India we do keep the dog as a pet

  • But we also keep them as a our safety guard

  • Or our bodyguard that eat

  • So in the night time most of the people

  • Because in India houses are big

  • So in the night time they open the dogs outside

  • And if someone's try to come to your house

  • The dog will bark

  • So and we can know that someone is trying to steal something

  • So that's it
