Subtitles section Play video Print subtitles (baby wails) I've seen this. (gasps and laughs) I knew it was coming! Oh my god! I just saw this the other day! (laughs) This is great. That's cool. Ugh, so creepy! [death metal music] Devil baby. (Lady shrieks) (laughs) Oh my god. It's so real. -(baby wails) -(woman shrieks) Oh [bleep]! (woman screams) (laughs) (laughs) (screaming) Every damn time! (couple screams) Pretty sure she just pooped her pants right there. (laughs) Okay. Zero [bleep]s were given. This is terrible. But the best thing in the world. I love how they're knocking over property. (laughs) It goes to their table. (laughs) Oh, Lord Jesus! It's the most genius prank. Ew! Oh! Whoa! Aw, the dog! That's not funny anymore. (laughs) Was it just flipping off-- It's so ugly. The Anti-Christ is coming. Ew, no! That was a commercial for-- What?! That's like the Carrie telekinesis thing. That was awesome. That was great! (Finebros) So what do you think about this video? Better than life. Scary. It was hilarious. It's disgusting. It was intense. I liked it. It was really disturbing, but it was also really funny. I'm very surprised that no one literally destroyed the stroller, the baby...I would have. (Finebros) If you were on the street and encountered this baby, how do you think you would have reacted? I would have had a heart attack! I probably would have, like, had to change my pants. I'd probably pee my pants. I would've freaked out and, like, lost my [bleep]. I'd freakin' haul ass away. Just book it! Oh my god. I would've, like, kicked the stroller back and then just dipped. I would've, like, socked it as hard as I can. Starting with kicking the stroller. After, like, an hour, I would've finally realized it was fake. (Finebros) Why is this such a great setup to get people with an abandoned baby? Cause you're like worried. "Oh, look. There's a baby that's all by itself." Everyone's going to come up to it and they're like, "Who would leave their baby?!" And people are vulnerable. They're like, "Oh, this innocent little baby. Let me go help it." It's a baby. People want to, like, go and save the baby if it's crying. Everybody's like, "Oh...little baby. Let's go check it out and make sure it's okay." It's the perfect set up. Because people think it's gonna be completely innocent and they think they're instigating this whole thing and they feel like they're in control and then--BAM! (Finebros) And what are your thoughts about the fact that this whole thing was created as a viral commercial for the movie Devil's Due? Then I'm like, oh well, psssh. [bleep] you. I didn't like that cause I thought it was just a funny video and then I didn't realize it was for that movie. See? I wish I saw that commercial on TV. That'd be awesome if it was on TV. It'd be, like, a Superbowl commercial. No, I think it's really clever marketing. Like, I hope it gets people to go to the movies. I think it's very, very sneaky, but, I mean, everyone's got a job to do and they did a great job. (Finebros) There's companies and marketing firms creating videos to be viral, like this one. (Finebros) What are your thoughts about the fact that this video you really enjoyed was made to be viral? It just shows how spoon-fed we are. It's kinda cheating cause they have all the money to produce it. I feel like I fell into their trap. I liked it! I don't like when things are force-fed, but at the same time, I'm a complete sucker for it. Viral videos should just get viral on their own. They should get big because they're funny, you know? Not cause you're purposely doing something. People still watch YouTube more than they watch TV so people that don't watch TV will see it and then they'll be inclined to see the movie. That's pretty genius. Bravo to the marketing people for these movies doing it. I think this is a lot more engaging than just seeing a boring trailer on TV. (Finebros) In your opinion, does it make it a little less genuine when you're watching this and know it's tailored to be viral? Yeah, exactly. It makes me look back and go, like, "Oh, why'd I watch that?" I don't really notice it. It doesn't matter to me. I don't think it makes a difference because the prank's the prank, like, the prank is still gonna priceless. I want to say that it makes it a little less genuine but I'm not gonna enjoy the video any less. I'll still share it. I'm just not going to go see the movie. So that's, I guess, my portion of not completely giving in! I think it does kind of take the shine off it a little bit. Sometimes I think, "Oh, that's great!" And then they do the little advertisement and you're like, "Ah...it wasn't needed." Um...it's working, so I can't really knock it. I feel kinda bad saying that I shouldn't like it cause they made it for me to like it. Like, that's not a bad thing. But then I feel like I'm kind of being tricked because I'm falling into their, like, "Oh, she's gonna like it." I'm not that predictable! But I am because I liked it! Ugh, it's playing with my head. (Finebros) Why do you think this particular prank is so popular? It came out this month and already has over 30 million views. Wow! That's a lot. Well, you said they, like, make it so it's viral, so who knows how many of those views are actual views. They've probably bought views. Just like followers on Instagram. Yeah, they probably did a lot of that. I just think it's cause of that damn baby. (laughs) That baby is terrifying. It's original, it's smart for advertising, and it's fricking hilarious. Whenever you do something really embarrassing, you can't forget it for the next eight years. And I think, then, people get to see someone else do something embarrassing. It's like, "Yeah. I'm not that stupid. It's fine." (Finebros) You talk about why prank videos have become so huge on the internet and why so many people love to watch them. Because people like to see other people suffer. Torturing your friend is always hilarious. You're in on the joke and then you see all these people falling for it. Kinda makes you go like, "Hah hah. You're stupid." You kinda see a lot of yourself in it too. You're like, "I would have reacted the exact same way." But you kind of want to deny that and you're like, "(sarcastic laugh) You're that stupid? How would you not see that was going to be a prank?" People love to see people freak out and struggle. When you fall, or your best friend falls, you laugh really, really hard before you help them up. There's not, like, a language barrier between people getting scared! No matter who you are, no matter what language you speak, if someone's like, "Hah hah hah!" You're like, "Oh, that guy saw something funny." (Finebros) Back to the video, if you now encounter a seemingly abandoned child in a stroller, what do you think you'll do? I'd probably think twice about approaching it. Someone else will help it. I think I would just tell a trusted adult. Probably call the police first. I mean, isn't that what they should do? I will immediately question it before I even walk up to it. Run away! You feel bad because you're like, "What if it is a real baby?" And then, like, if you leave, you're like, "I couldn't just kill the baby!" I'm gonna suck it up. I'm gonna see if that baby's okay and if it's a devil baby, then, you know, I'll take the [bleep] pants for it. I'll just completely forget the whole video and still go up to it. Always go with the right thing, not what you think is gonna happen. I don't really know if that's a quote, I just made it, okay? I'm gonna copyright that. That's mine! (Finebros) Does this make you want to see Devils Due? Mmm-hmm. Yeah. It actually does. If they put Harry Styles in it, maybe I'll go see it. Eh...kinda. After the video, if they had a whole preview, I think that would've been a little better. Mmmm...no, because I don't like scary movies. No, cause it just sounds like a stupid concept. The prank succeeded in making me laugh but the preview didn't make me want to go see it. It kind of failed. (Finebros) And finally, we have to ask you -if Arya Stark encountered this baby-- -Mmm-hmm... (Finebros) What do you think she would do once it popped up? She would just decapitate it. It's just, like, quick reactions. It would just...BOOM! Stab! (hawk screeches) Then afterwards she'd be, like, "Mmm, well... It's not really a big deal. Just go on, you know. It wasn't doing any good to the world, so...sorry!" Thanks for watching my first episode of Teens React! New episodes of React come out every week, so make sure you're subscribed.
