  • He travels all around the world, he slides down

  • chimneys, and he delivers presents once a year.

  • You're right, and here he is now, ladies and gentlemen.

  • Here comes Santa Claus.

  • KERMIT: Wait a minute.

  • Hold on.

  • Wait a second.

  • EASTER BUNNY: Let me put this bag down.

  • KERMIT: Pardon me, there.

  • EASTER BUNNY: Out of the way.

  • KERMIT: Who are you?

  • EASTER BUNNY: I'm Santa Claus.

  • I thought you'd recognize me.

  • KERMIT: You're not Santa Claus.

  • You're a rabbit.

  • EASTER BUNNY: No, no.

  • I'm Santa Claus.

  • KERMIT: I don't exactly know what to say here, folks.

  • EASTER BUNNY: Well, why don't you ask me what kind of

  • presents I'm going to deliver on Christmas morning?

  • KERMIT: Do I have to?

  • EASTER BUNNY: Oh come on, go ahead.

  • Be a pal.

  • KERMIT: What kind of presents do you deliver

  • on Christmas morning?

  • EASTER BUNNY: I'm glad you asked.

  • KERMIT: I'm sorry I asked.

  • EASTER BUNNY: Yeah, well mostly jack-o-lanterns here,

  • jack-o-lanterns and scary masks.

  • They're funny.

  • And black cats, they're good for a scream, you know, and

  • brooms, broomsticks.

  • KERMIT: Wait a second, now, just a minute.

  • Broomsticks?

  • Broomsticks, all that stuff is for witches.

  • That's all Halloween stuff is what that is.

  • EASTER BUNNY: What are you talking about?

  • KERMIT: Listen, where are the eggs?

  • EASTER BUNNY: Eggs?

  • KERMIT: The Easter eggs.

  • I know you.

  • You are the Easter Bunny, and you're supposed to be

  • delivering Easter eggs.

  • Now where are the Easter eggs?

  • EASTER WITCH: I got 'em.

  • Right here, yeah.

  • I got 'em.

  • It's me.

  • Yeah, I got 'em.

  • Me, the little old Easter witch, hippity hopping all

  • around the land hiding eggs hither and

  • yon, here and there.

  • KERMIT: Wait a second.

  • This is all ridiculous.

  • Now, you two have got this whole thing all mixed up.

  • EASTER BUNNY: Well, it seems perfectly clear to me.

  • KERMIT: No, no, no.

  • Let me explain.

  • Now listen.

  • Witches go with Halloween.

  • That's when you ride around on broomsticks and people dress

  • up in funny masks and things, all that stuff here that the

  • rabbit had, see?

  • OK, and you, the Easter Bunny, you're supposed to hide

  • colored eggs on Easter morning.

  • And Santa Claus, he's the guy who delivers Christmas

  • presents by sliding down a chimney, and he's the one who

  • goes, "Ho, ho, ho?" Now you got that?

  • SANTA CLAUS: Wait, wait.

  • Say that once more.

  • KERMIT: I said, ho, ho, ho.

  • SANTA CLAUS: You're Santa Claus.

  • I've been looking all over for you.

  • First, I want a train, then I want a truck.

  • [INTERPOSING VOICES]

  • KERMIT: Hold on.

  • SANTA CLAUS: No, you have to wait in line.

  • I got here first.

  • KERMIT: Will you get off my lap?

  • [INTERPOSING VOICES]

  • KERMIT: This is Kermit the Frog

  • returning you to your studio.

  • I don't know what in the world this is all about.
