This soil has not been tilled for 40 years. It’s virtually undisturbed. Watch what happens when I simulate rainfall on these two soils. [pause] The undisturbed soil allows every precious inch to infiltrate. This is good for your production and for the environment. The disturbed soil does not allow the water to infiltrate. Most of the water is going to runoff, and place your soil into drought mode, and put your nutrients into the nearest lake. When it comes to building healthy productive soils, remember, do not disturb.
