  • FELT FLOWERPOTS.

  • Hi, Guys I’m Kristen and Welcome to Studio Knit. I'm so excited.

  • Today is the big Kin Community DIY Collaboration with some of my favorite, crafty YouTube Channels.

  • And, I have thumbnails at the end of this video. You can click through if you're on

  • a regular computer. I also have links in the description below.

  • Make sure to SUBSCRIBE to me, if you haven't already. And, check out all my friends. I love them so much.

  • They give me so much inspiration and I'm sure you will love them, too.

  • And today we are going to be making these super cute flowerpots, simply made out of felt.

  • This is a great craft project that that anyone can make. And for this Valentine's

  • Day craft idea, there is no knitting. Not even sewing, no glueing either. All we are

  • going to do is cut and fold to make these adorable little FLOWERPOTS.

  • The materials we will use are Felt, in any two colors of your choice, Scissors,

  • And cute little FLOWERPOTS.

  • I am including a FREE PDF DOWNLOAD of the FLOWERPOT Pattern with a link in the description

  • below. Print your free download at one hundred percent of its size, and cut the pattern.

  • Then pin it to your felt, and cut along the pattern. We also will cut slits into your

  • felt along these lines. After unpinning and removing the pattern, I like to cut these

  • slits open a little bit more.

  • To fold our little love pot, first we will insert our contrasting color swatch through

  • the two slits in the bottom of the pot. Then simply fold up each side, insert your tabs

  • through both the front and back of the sides to keep them in place.

  • Now, cut a cute design into your main felt color. You can either use a craft punch or

  • simply cut it free hand, like me. Of course, for Valentine’s Day I am cutting out hearts.

  • This is a great gift for other holidays and gifting occasions, as well. So, you can cut

  • any shapes you would like. Simple shapes like stars, shamrocks, christmas trees. They would

  • all look really cute on this project. Now, we will insert a pretty little flowerpot and

  • you are done!

  • It’s so sweet, pretty, and full of love. Your friends will cherish this thoughtful

  • handmade gift made especially by YOU! I hope you give this fun DIY project a try.

  • And thank you so much for watching Studio Knit.

  • Make sure to check out all of my craft friends in this collaboration playlist.

  • Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone. Bye!
