Escaping the suffering

From those who keep following.

We have a choice in this life.

Mistakes will be made so

It's up to each one to decide.

Time keeps ticking by.

Don't realize something is wrong with me.

If I keep it inside,

I have no way to know if it's all right.

But when anger's bottled up inside,

Can I resist against unspoken words or try to hide?

Temptation rages into reality.

Even if I find the words to cry,

They disappear and leave behind the traces of my lies.

It's spilling over the side.

Up in the sky,

Nostalgic emotions fill my eyes.

I know that though I've lost my own way,

It's still not too late.

The many times I've tried in vain,

For one to confide in

Before it was locked away.

The wrong I've done you remains.

But do I accept that there's no way to take it back?

One chance to live life,

Can I make sense of it before I die?

Take it all for granted and what do we get?

Scaling up the walls of so-called life...
