He made lots of money,

had a nice house,

and drove a BMW.

Everything in Frank’s life looked good from the outside.

Frank, however, had a problem on the inside.

He had cancer.

When he went to see the doctor,

the doctor told him

“Frank, you only have one month left to live.

No matter what you do, you are going to die.”

All of Frank’s money and things could not help him.

He was helpless to stop the cancer.

The book of Proverbs in the Bible says that

“the rich think their wealth will protect them.

They think it is like a strong fortress.”
